    What we have always needed is more talent at the #2 boundary WR position to complement Diggs, and our other receiving options. On Defense we have always needed better and much faster implemented adjustments when the opponents offense is marching down the field with regularity especially in the fourth quarter, jmo.

    There is nothing liberal about the NFL as an organization, they do what keeps the cash rolling in, that is the sole priority, everything else is lip service. The NFL will pretend to be anything as long as the owners get richer year after year.

    Frankly, as long as they bring on a #1b WR that is a bonafide threat/weapon for the offense, they can do what the hell ever they want to do on defense, jmo.

    The answer is yes we are, their is always the ten percent of fans that peaked maturity wise as sophomores in high school, and that’s being kind, it would be nice to neuter or spay them so as to reduce the issue going forward…,

    Nice thread, I would say the main culprit is scheme / play design and making adjustments on both sides of the ball, (coaches) and a lack of difference makers / elite weapons on offense, for example, a killer #1b WR would make a gigantic difference jmo.

    We may not have a #1, but that is in large part that our #2 takes no load off of our #1 , this is not said to pile on Davis, it’s just that he is in a position that his skill set can’t fill, Davis is better suited to be a 3/4 and was far more useful in that role, jmo.
