  1. Agree....except 1. This is a BS officiating day in general.
  2. This drive will decide if it's gonna be a Ravens type loss, or a chance to get back into
  3. Need points on 1st drive out of half. Then DL to have a fire lit under their a**. Worst performance I've seen since the Colts loss.
  4. Less about coaching and more about getting dominated in the trenches. We've made some adjustments, but can't help when a 5 man rush gets stood up OR interior DL getting pushed 2 gaps out of position. On offense, our OL is getting no movement in rungame. Need to use more misdirection, and the screen game has been money. Joe Brady calling an OK game. DL has to play better, or this will be a run away.
  5. Need to be better than that on offense.
  6. going to need our DBs to step up and play more man/make plays. Drop a safety and bring more pressure
  7. Brady getting the RB screen game going. That's been a missing component. Great playcalls. Now need a stop.
  8. Nothing about a trap game. Some questionable playcalling, and horrible special teams costs us 7. Not sure why we've abandoned the run game early.
  9. It's all about gap integrity. Losing it inside, need DTs to play better, like Daquan on 1st rush play.
  10. Babich needs to get into more 5 man front looks/drop the safety
  11. I think there are other reasons to consider. Tomorrow would be 4th game missed. Even if he misses another, which sounds like next week he'll be back, it was 1 extra roster spot we didn't need. The reason for not IRing him is simple. Keep him on the practice field, getting work in with the team without any windows or time limits to activate. I'm sure if more players went down at WR, it could have been a different story
  12. Not what I'm hearing. He's still in rehab territory. 4-6 weeks was what I was told literally right after injury, as an initial timeline. Hearing next week he'll be more in true questionable territory, likely suiting up.
  13. Don't we have until 4pm today, for official roster changes ahead of tomorrow? Practice Squad, activating IR players/releases
  14. McNeil would be a huge loss if he doesn't clear protocol next week
  15. Been a fracture since the start.
  16. Obviously alot of reasons to like the signing (below is my order of top reasons): 1. Mentor for Bishop. Playing safety in our scheme, is a difficult task. No one better than Hyde to pass along his knowledge 2. Valuable depth. Lewis is a valuable chess piece, but best in his dime role. Bishop is still learning the ropes as a rookie. I think Hyde slots in perfectly for the break glass moment, if both Hamlin and Rapp go down. Perhaps he exceeds that expectation, and is our #3 come playoffs. I just don't see how they bench Hamlin right now. He's doing his 1/11th 3. Locker room presence. Another ex captain, team leader. Micah's leadership and commaderie with most of this team, will only help. 4. Another coach on gamedays. Even if inactive, you'll see #23 very vocal/helping defense off the field Micah reasons (my guess, until we hear an interview): 1. Super Bowl. For a player that's never been and poured alot into this franchise, have to think this is the #1 reason (seeing what we've done to this point, SB aspirations are just as high as recent years) 2. Commaderie/Miss the game. Self explanatory, especially for anyone who has played and feels they have something left in the tank--- remembering biggest hindrance with Micah has been his neck issues 3. Coaching. Does Micah have aspirations to be a coach in the future? Who knows. But he's coming back and that might be part of his role for the time being, as he gets into game shape.
  17. He was a cancer in Pittsburgh, he just made enough plays to put up with it. When he's not producing, it's an easy decision. Steelers have a way of drafting these headcase/selfish WRs for over a decade. Pickens is the next one to be shown the door when his game goes south.
  18. Yes, the SNF game is always left out
  19. My takeaway is that a Denver regression to the mean is due to occur. AND, this will be a 1 and done team in the playoffs. We match up extremely well against them, if we stay in our current 2 seed. If anyone is taking the 7 seed from Denver, it will be the Colts. Head to head upcoming after both teams on a bye. Colts have 3 easier games to finish, Broncos final 3 would be Chargers, Cincy, KC. Even if Denver wins tonight, the Dec 15th game will decide the 7 seed most likely. Dolphins need a miracle, Cincy is done/that defense is awful.
  20. BS flag....f*** Wanted that for Brandon
  21. Rapp making half of Poyer or Hyde, just balling this year. Tonight he's our D leader.
  22. Rapp literally has saved us 14 points tonight. Well used $$$ Beane
  23. There is something about the Mack / Josh connection, those guys got it rolling early on
  24. 💯 Spencer adds physicality up front, VandeMark is more technique much more limited than Spencer. Brown might be the best pick of the Beane era. Dude is a stud, and opens up alot of options.
  25. We need to be more physical in both sides of ball. Need to get Cook and Ray going. Mix in some quick passes.
