  1. I don't think anyone is celebrating, at least I'm not. Just stating I'm not feeling bad for him.
  2. It's ok to love his good times and be sour/upset with what transpired over the last 24 months. He's costing us $30m on cap this year. Part of that is Beane. He gave Stef the $$$s he was asking for and deserved at the time. Stef's attitude also took a 180, his play was suspect and made a critical drop in the playoffs. Then all but forced his way out of Buffalo, again costing us a ton of cap. Not to mention alot of backroom/behind the scene antics that wore on alot of players/staff. Loved the good times, but he reverted to his Minnesota self last year. Exactly what many warned of. Stef honeymoon period is great, eventually the game becomes more about him over team.
  3. What is so wrong with what I said, to deserve this? You're clearly sensitive. My point is what I said. I'm not here hoping Diggs tore his ACL or cheering that he was injured. As I said in my post, I'm not showing any sympathy though. Sometimes bad things happen. See Desean Watson, a completely different situation/injury. Again, it's not about wishing injury on anyone or hoping for the worst outcome. It's about recognizing that Diggs forced his way out, and now is injured. Facts and facts. Call it karma, call it bad luck...doesn't implicate what you're trying to get across.
  4. Non contact knee injuries, tend to be on the serious side. The knee bend/action looked like a possible ACL. Hate seeing players get injured. But karma can be a b****. I'm not giving him any sympathy.
  5. It's called high quality coaching/scheme.
  6. Agree. Shakir playing extremely well, but I'm most impressed with Keon playing so well against one of the top corners in the NFL. Not to mention Keon has been an absolute DUDE in run blocking, wait for the all-22/twitter comments to come out after the game on his blocking
  7. Cook and Coleman really stepping up on offense today, along with OL. This is what we've been trying to build, strength in the trenches.
  8. Great tip and pick by Dline. Toohill textbook on playing that screen. Austin with the quick instincts.
  9. Lots of penalties but we've also had alot of breaks. Sign of a good team to take advantage and clean up fouls after Q1. That was a heck of a drive.
  10. Smart timeout. Get a solid run play called here, and get Josh on QB sneak on 4th if needed, then burn 2nd timeout.
  11. We built a team more equipped to run the ball. This favors us IMO.
  12. Huge defensive stop. Let's go get points now.
  13. Penalties need to stop, but we've overcome them mostly, fortunately. Need to keep Geno in 3rd and 5+. Like us staying aggressive on offense, playaction on early downs.
  14. Without DK, I think we can be more flexible with dropping safeties/mixing more looks. Lockett is still a major deep threat, but I would assume we'd roll/bracket coverage on DK a good bit of time. If he's out, as it appears he will be, that's a MUCH bigger loss compared to Bernard. No offense to Terrel here. Spector is a capable backup, and I'd expect Terrel will be ready for Miami.
  15. Carter has been an underrated player so far. With many still critiquing Beane about the use of the 3rd round pick. Silver lining is that it doesn't seem to be season ending, possibly even less than 4 weeks. Another year of defensive injuries, across the board (and Von suspension). Good news Von is back next week and we can slide Smoot back to 3T more often. Also sounds like Matt Milano recovery might be going well.
  16. May have missed it, but did Coach give any details on Bernard? I know he's out this week, but is that due to his ankle OR personal? Info on personal?
  17. We shall see, I think this should be a -4.5 Viking line.
  18. I think it goes both ways. Pickens has basically been 🔥 all night. If he misses just 1 of his 50/50 plays, this game is in a different spot. Pickens has bailed out Russ. Fields has bailed out the OL all year. So yes it's a give/take, each player has warts.
  19. I'd more accurately say that Pickens is single handedly winning this game. Freiermuth with a great 1 handed grab too. Their offense looks the same as it has all season. Except with Pickens having more of an impact/opportunities down field, and less the scrambling ability of Fields. I don't think Russ has played that well TBH. Looks immobile, but has made a few nice accurate throws that Fields would never make. But blew some 3rd down plays in 1st half and "dirted" way too many throws (arm strength lacking on the move)
  20. 1 message- wake the F up on offense (Brady and OL).
  21. Seems like a weekly problem now. Joe Brady can't scheme open the pass game to save his life. He and OL have a 2nd half to redeem themselves. 1-4 team coming with Mason Rudolph. Titans have a very good D, but not holding us to 90 yards and 4 completions- that's a problem plaguing us in passing game most of year.
  22. Only 10-7 after another horrible offensive half. At some point, you decide who you're best players are and scheme around them. This offense finally has an Oline that can hold up and we want to play small ball always. You do that at times, but that's become an identity of a Josh Allen offense. That's on Brady, and hope he realizes (and McD), that you have to play more aggressive. Playing down to a 1-4 team, by playing into their hands. Somehow we're the only team in NFL that refuses to play under center/roll the pocket for easy TE/RB dump offs. The point of a running game is to keep the defense honest. Difficult to do that consistently out of the gun.
  23. I'm ok with defensive effort. Offense laying an egg- Joe Brady FFS, in the 2nd half can we go under center more. Run/playaction
  24. Exactly. To his credit, Brady has a solid run game. But his pass schemes are about bottom 5 as it gets.
  25. Honestly, had hopes in Brady. He's just shown to be incompetent in passing attack. Basic as hell on offense, zero misdirection. 2 solid TEs and we can't get them involved, because we want to run 90% of plays from the gun. Just a cluster passing attack. Pitiful 1st half
