  1. LOVE Baylor, the kid runs like an NFL back. He's older and has durability ?s but my god is he fun to watch (and that's saying this as a Duck) when he's on. Speaking of Ducks... Keep Devon Williams on your radar. 6'5, long-armed WR, former high 4* recruit, started his career at USC but transferred to Oregon. At Oregon he had arguably THE WORST QB in college FB not targeting him for 2 consecutive years. I'm not kidding or exaggerating when I say there would be entire quarters or halves of games where he wouldn't get a target and yet was consistently open, like WIDE open. As such, he doesn't have the production you would want, but in the few games that he was actually and accurately fed the ball (they were few and far in between), he dominated. He's a great athlete and a bully in jump-ball situations. Should've stayed in college, but now has a young baby and wanting to provide for his family. This is the kind of kid that could definitely be a sleeper. DEFINITELY a kid I want to see succeed.
  2. I've seen him in person twice, he's nothing special.
  3. No question he's low floor. I just think we'll be good enough, and have a good enough staff and ability to coach him up, to take that risk.
  4. With the 28th selection, the Green Bay Packers select Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn St. Our QB needs weapons, and while we selected the WR with the highest upside 6 picks ago, Dotson will give him a starting, reliable WR immediately and the closest thing this draft has to a Davante Adams (in terms of play style). The Chiefs @Logic is on the clock
  5. I don't think you'd trade either. I'd see him as a 3rd safety/hybrid LB and move Taron Johnson out to the edge -- he showed he can hold his own out there. Just spitballing, but if he really is sliding he'd be an awesome piece to add to this defense.
  6. Moss was the name that came to mind for me.
  7. Doesn't shock me, we're in no-man's land... Us meeting with Kyle Hamilton is really interesting in this regard...
  8. I wouldn't even put it that high -- my point was he's a guy I could see them trading up for.
  9. 100% they also seem to target talented guys who've dropped for whatever reason... That to me screams Booth.
  10. Meh, he's a low-ceiling player. I think you have to do better than that in the first. If we're faced with that situation in real life, I hope we trade back, improve our 2 and take Tariq Woolen and the best available WR.
  11. With the 22nd selection, the Green Bay Packers select George Pickens, WR, Georgia Reason: Most talented WR in the draft The Cardinals @aristocrat is on the clock
  12. 1,000,000% the right pick
  13. @Virgil I'm in. Packers, KC, Steelers -- I'm pretty easy.
  14. Feedback: Absolutely no way Thibs falls that far. Ditto for Willis, teams will be trading up for him -- Pickett WAY too high. More of a nit, but hard to see PHI taking a WR that they may not get much out of this year, given their track record with #1 WRs... VERY okay with the Zion pick, but feels like there's about 8 "right" picks there...
  15. This. He won't have a "position", he'll just be rushing the passer.
  16. I agree with the sentiment, but no one is giving up a first for Danielle Hunter. That's been the case for a few years now, and especially not now with the Vikings looking at likely having to cut him.
  17. Thought Settle had big-time potential out of college. If I remember right, he's struggled to stay healthy in the pros. As long as the money is right, this is an all upside type signing!
  18. For better or for worse, Edmunds is 5 years younger than Campbell. I think the answer (and the crux of the debate about him as a player in general, really) depends on what you think of his ability to continue developing. Given a rising cap, I'd bet on him continuing to develop and say yes.
  19. Cheerful Bullpen is an absolute blast for Bills games!
  20. This is more than a little silly. I'm not arguing for the content of his character at all, but it's not like Watson is their 4th string QB because he all of a sudden forgot how to play football. He's still in the upper echelon of QBs in the league in terms of talent, this is a unique situation to be sure.
  21. Looooot of bad takes on this thread. Just gonna leave it at that.
  22. I'll go to my deathbed pounding the table for James Hardy (R.I.P.), so he feels like a good answer to this question. How in the world were we expecting a vertical/jump ball threat WR to succeed when we were employing a QB afraid to throw the ball beyond the LOS??? Such a Billsy thing to do in that era of utter incompetence... He certainly had his demons, but had things gone his way, I think those could've been overcome as well...
