  1. IDK. If we go into the season with a depth chart of A.J. Green, Brown, Beasley, Aiyuk, Foster and Roberts I don’t think too many people would complain.
  2. That’s the most likely choice because there will be value there so BPA will likely match need. They’ll also need a CB to start opposite Lattimore if they can’t afford to keep Jenkins, and a CB to groom behind him is he can be retained. They need an upgrade at guard and Oline depth. Then there’s QB which could become a need quickly depending on what happens with Brees and Bridgewater. I think they go WR, but depending on what happens in FA I could see them going CB, G, or QB if one of those positions is at the top of their board.
  3. The Saints may very well go WR. Corner is also in play for them.
  4. Highly likely that GB and SF each take a WR which starts a run that goes through the early 2nd. Particularly since those teams will be looking to give young QBs weapons.
  5. He’s something between a 3-Tech and a penetrating 1 tech.... Kind of like Liuget. ?. Bringing in Reader ,or Hargrave, would allow them to run a jumbo DT package. That’s a viable reason for McB to sniff around. Fritz Shurmur used to run zone blitz schemes with two NTs in several locations.... McD’s and Frazier’s mentor (Jim Johnson) was the D line coach for Shurmurs cardinals defenses. The schemes and ways to utilize personnel would be familiar to them. That’s something to consider here when we know we need to shore up the run D.
  6. I had that happen with a hunting knife. Previous trip was to Wyoming.... found the knife 3 months later while unpacking my carry on duffle in the Bahamas. How they missed a 5” fixed blade in the x-ray I’ll never know.
  7. They’re already streaming Thursday night games on amazon and Hulu. My guess is that a “Sunday ticket” moves to a PPV service on different streaming channels with possible package deals available. It makes the most sense and allows for an international audience.
  8. Let them bite the bullet then sign a guy who fits the bills schemes. Joseph, Griffen, Rhodes, Reiff, etc. They’ll release someone.
  9. Are you talking about Bowden? IMO he’s surprisingly good at elevating, boxing out DBs, and catching passes in traffic. Kid just makes plays and has a bit of that Steve Smith edge. I’ll take that any day. Plus, he’s a former QB which - I think - adds value in Daboll’s scheme due to complexity.
  10. He played safety at BC too. ?‍♂️. McD moved him to WLB. In McD’s scheme that type of player fits the will position.
  11. I’m not so sure.... I think he’s a viable option for teams looking to shore up their edge run defense and run a nitro/nascar package. Epenesa probably isn’t the guy you want at DE on 3rd and 10, but if he slides to DT in that situation there’s value. It certainly limits the number of teams though. Currently dreaming of replacing McKenzie with Bowden.
  12. I’m not sure that it matters. The cap goes up every year. Over the course of a five year contract “great” LTs end up getting paid as “good” LTs. It’s a supply problem, and if you have an above average to good LT you pay him the going rate. The alternative is a bad LT or unknown that could get your QB injured.
  13. Milano is our weak side lber. We need a replacement for Alexander. The FA packer lber that would best fit there is Kyler Fackrell.
  14. Likely. Martinez is great at playing cleanup, but he can get washed out easily. Particularly against zone schemes. He’s not good at taking on blocks and he’s exposed against the run in Pettine’s scheme. Part of that is due to bad NT play, but Martinez is more of a chase guy instead of downhill. More of a WLB in a 4-3. Decent speed and coverage ability.
  15. I think so. It harkens back to Spurriers comments at South Carolina where his injury problems were referred to as “want to play” rather than couldn’t play. The perpetually playing dinged up worries me more than anything else honestly. His work ethic has never been something I questioned, just whether or not he was available for work.
  16. Maybe Bezos wants to own the athletic as well as the Washington post.

  18. I’m not forgiving. There were a few moments when he gets a shoulder bump from teammates after a drop.... It’s concerning. Particularly when you combine it with his apathetic blocking.... makes you wonder if he “gave up” on some plays and was surprised when the ball did show up on time and accurately. Despite the physical talent he has a much lower floor than the top three guys. There’s a reason - or two post 40 - he’s not in that discussion.
  19. Concentration for the most part. There are times where he has the ball knocked out by stronger and/ longer DBs. Generally though his drops are concentration lapses. I think he got frustrated at times and lost his focus somewhat. If you watch full game tapes you can see him visibly frustrated with the QB play. Then you see him a few plays later try to turn upfield early or something else.
  20. Gotta love a good leasehold. It’s becoming more common here now as well. ?
  21. His route running leaves a fair amount of room for improvement. He tends to be inconsistent, get high, round off routes, etc. It’s going to take some work to fix that, and I’m not sure if he has enough suddenness to really excel at all the routes. That coupled with Baylor’s route tree means he probably won’t start day 1 like some of the other options. He will contribute though. He has a round 1 ceiling with a lower floor. I had him pegged as late second to mid third before the senior bowl. As much as I love how he high points the ball, what really jumped out to me is how aggressively he blocks play side. He’s not a great blocker, however the attitude is there and he’ll attack a corner like a dog. Out of all the receivers I like his game as a match for Allen.... Yes, he can get deep, but his catch radius, how he boxes out DBs, and catches that back shoulder fade make him perfect for the intermediate area of the field.
  22. I can easily see 2-3 WRs being added. If we’re honest every one except Beasley, Brown, and maybe Edwards are replaceable and upgradable. Considering the WR depth in the draft it’s entirely possible that WR will be BPA at several of Beane’s picks even if he gives up assets to trade up somewhere.
  23. I certainly can’t speak to the talk of gang affiliations in HS, etc. I’m not sure if that’ll be a huge knock on him as he seems to have left that behind. However, the incident before the Virginia Tech game is definitely something he’s being asked about in interviews.
  24. I’m not as down on his hands as many. I worry more that a fair amount of his concentration lapses are due to apathy and then trying too hard when he did get the ball. In other words, he seemed mentally affected by poor QB play. If you watch the complete games you can see him visibly frustrated. Granted there were plays where he’d be wide open during a read and the QB would go elsewhere, passes sailed over his head, behind him, etc. That coupled with his poor run blocking are my dings on Reagor. Flipeside is that there’s tape of him chasing down a db from behind after an int and stripping the ball out with Don Beene effort. ?‍♂️... With that in mind, I think you can get a similar player in Lynn Bowden Jr later, and Bowden doesn’t have any real knocks other than rusty route running from playing QB.
