  1. Perhaps they’re all at Trent Murphy’s home gym lifting in hazmat suits. https://buffalonews.com/2018/05/10/new-bills-linebacker-defensive-trent-murphys-home-gym-is-insane/
  2. I’d imagine that the optics and intentions matter. I can’t see the NFL allowing the trade to go through if the owner makes a public statement lambasting BOB. Imagine the public reaction and ***** show if the owner made an announcement that BOB made the trade after leaked info about him being fired...
  3. Are you sure there wasn’t some sort of compensation for the jersey number? I didn’t hear anything either way about it. Granted , it’s not like many folks were following Da'Mari Scott. I certainly wasn’t.
  4. I’d be tempted just to see what Oliver does in camp. ?‍♂️
  5. Moss is certainly intriguing. Unfortunately it sometimes looks like his cleats are made of lead. Heck of a blocker with reliable hands, and the kid can catch when getting smacked. You might be dead on the money with him moving to fullback/H-back.
  6. I picked him for the packers with the second round pick in that mock draft we all did. ?
  7. It’s bad juju to not pay the cut candidate for his number in one way or another. Dude may be unemployed afterwards so a cash send off is ideal.
  8. Way to forget that single jet sweep.
  9. Is he more explosive than... ???
  10. After a few night sweat talking the room while drenched in drakkar noir and coke sweats anyone will crash.
  11. The 1% fatality rate of Covid-19 is markedly worse than the 0.1% fatality rate of the common flu. The incubation rate also seems to be twice as long. Comparing it to the Black Death is a bit sideways as it isn’t a bacterial infection spread by fleas, nor is it occurring in a time where most countries don’t have running water. A much more apt comparison would be Swine Flu since we are at a similar stage of worldwide infection. Thing is, the swine flu was the second h1n1 pandemic. The first was what’s commonly referred to as Spanish Influenza (1918-1919) during which about 0.5% of the US population died.... 0.5% of the current US population is about 16,500,000 people. Ruminate upon that number. 16.5 million mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, grandparents, friends, etc. You’ll know several people who died if this maintains momentum for a year.... If this does not mutate to a less fatal or less communicable virus over summer we may be starring down the barrel of that gun. Particularly if we act like a bunch of addlepated troglodytes, ignore known safety measures, and overload the healthcare system with critical cases.
  12. People are drastically underestimating the possibility that this virus mutates and comes back in fall. Particularly if there’s no vaccine by then.... summer will kill it???? It’s always winter somewhere on this planet. As long as there’s travel then contagion can spread. We’d all be better off planning for this to get worse and being happily surprised if it doesn’t.
  13. Not worried at all. I’d like to see improvement, but I think with an offseason of examination Daboll can tweak run schemes to figure some stuff out. Not having Gore back there as a key to stack the box will help as will Ford improving. More than anything though Allen developing and improving blitz & coverage identification, audibles, and protection calls will help the most.
  14. He’s also too slow and not elusive enough at this point to break off a few long gainers against a stacked box.
  15. I’d be more than happy with Akers as well. I could also live with them spending a 2nd on edge (Anae?) and nabbing Bowden and Perine if they get a better vet RB than Yeldin. Absolutely has a bigger frame. I’m not so sure that’s what this team wants though. Everyone besides Duke is 6’ and under. ?.
  16. Possibly, but I’m not sure if he can catch. I do like him as a late round developmental QB though. I think he’d be a great practice squad player so defenses get accustomed to QBs with legit athleticism.... Maddeningly inconsistency as a passer though, and a lot of his deep strikes are 50/50 lobs.
  17. Bowden comes into play in the third IMO This is why I’m higher on Bowden for Daboll’s offense. You get a similar skill set as Shenault - less size/physicality, but more speed and athleticism - while maintaining all of the gadgetry bonuses. Plus, on top of the ability to run the ball - 2nd nationally in YPC - Bowden has a lot of QB experience for those WR option passes Daboll loves to use.
  18. Yup. If J Allen takes another big step forward this team will be in amazing shape
  19. Allen’s youth likely plays a part as well. A QB like Wilson, Brady or Rodgers can direct traffic and explain things like a coach on the field which helps young WRs. Allen isn’t quite experienced enough for that. Adding Diggs makes that a non-issue. They can now draft a developmental WR later and groom them to replace Beasley and/ Brown when their contracts are up. Also let’s a rookie get comfortable before (I hope not) an injury situation forces action.
  20. I think Bryce Hall is a bit of a sleeper as well. He’s a bit limited as far as fluidity and he didn’t run at the combine, and folks forgot about him after the injury. However, he’s a big smart and instinctive corner with leadership qualities and solid tackling. Would fit for zone schemes and as a corner/safety hybrid. I see him coming into play mid 2nd round.
  21. All comes down to whether or not they hit on a QB.
  22. I assume that they went harder on defense to replace Phillips, Lorax, Johnson and Lawson. McB probably believe that the draft is better suited for upgrading offensive positions this year. Plus, a lot of these defensive players have experience in McDs scheme.... They’ll be seamless fits in an abbreviated off-season.
  23. Duke, Foster and Roberts could all be in for a camp battle. Really depends on the skill set of any other acquisitions. If they get Mims/Claypool then Duke could be gone. If they get a Reagor/Bowden then Roberts could lose his job. Gonna be fun to see how this shakes out. Regardless, we now have an excellent starting three.
