HomeTeam replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Can't say we are not going for it.. I trust Beane is looking out for the present and the future. WE JUST GOT A STUD PASSRUSHER! BE HAPPY GUYS! -
Bills sign DT Tim Settle, formally of Washington Commanders.

He looks great in these highlights. I'm excited! -
Harrison Phillips to Vikings, 3 year 19.5 million
HomeTeam replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
This sucks. He was really coming on. I'm surprised they did not work something out, he wanted to be here. Edit: just caught up with today DL signings. Good to hear we got some reinforcements. Hopefully this round of DL is better than the last batch. I'm optimistic. -
Thank you for sharing. First time exposed to that prospect, and what a talent he is. He has an absolute canon of a leg, can kick fieldgoals, can tackle and wait for it... he's left footed! Wow! That being said, I'm in agreement with some posters here that I would not want to draft a punter/kicker before the 6th round. Especially in this draft, since it's so deep, given so many players electing to stay an extra year.

Bills vs. Chiefs Divisional Round: Full Match Re-play
HomeTeam replied to HomeTeam's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea, I had the same thought. Both situations a win was snatched away in the most improbable ways. He's definitely has that it factor about him. The scary part, is I believe now is the point in Josh's career where his talent, experience, and confidence are all aligning. -
Bills vs. Chiefs Divisional Round: Full Match Re-play

I'm also amazed how much easier it is to watch in replay. Watching in live, the game was so intense. Those 4th downs where our season was on the line, Josh was at his best. It's unfortunate that in a losing effort, nobody will remember how special Josh was. Beane and company need a good off-season. We are right there ! Fair enough. NFL Scouting combine starts March 1-7th, that will us something to look forward to. -
I mustered up the courage to re-watch the infamous Bills vs. Chiefs Divisional Round. I know this game is hard to watch for a bunch of people but it's the off season and there is some merit in watching how special this game really was. Link to the game can be found here. https://fullmatchtv.com/nfl/buffalo-bills-vs-kansas-city-chiefs-23-01-22/ I suggest re-watching from 1:40:00 mark. This is the point where the Bills begin their 17 play drive to go ahead with a little less than two minutes in the game. Commentary: -That 17 play drive was something else, especially those 4th down conversions by Josh. He is literally gasping for air doing everything humanly possible to will his team to victory. That was a big boy drive. -Another thing that I loved seeing was how after the Chiefs answered with the Tyreek Hill TD, the camera turns over to Josh, and you just see him signalling to his team like OK 👌 we got this. Legendary stuff. That's what you want from the leader of your team. -Josh responds leading an quick and efficient drive to give the bills the lead with 13 seconds left. We all know what happens from here. I thought we won the game. I wonder if the coaches & players lost their composure and let their guard down in that moment. I know I was an emotional wreck : P Anyways, I don't want to go too much into the 13 seconds, that's been discussed to death and want this thread to remain positive. It's great to see Josh rising to the occasion, and leading his team in those big pressure moments. We have a lot to look forward to. What are your thoughts now that we are almost a month removed?

Yes, I would say I am losing interest in the NFL. Poor refs/ favourable treatment towards certain markets, gambling, too many commercial breaks/ promotions/ greed, lack of relegation system. If it not were for the Bills, I would have walked away a long time ago. The Bills are a comfort of mine, when everything else is wrong with the world.

Brandon Beane has always talked about how he wants to build a perennial winner . While the Rams, went all in and won, it looks like they are going to take a few steps back in the coming years.

Burrow does a good job at avoiding turnovers.

Mike Brown is such a lovable old guy.

I'm not sure if its my feed (ESPN), but this stadium feels so hollow. I guess its all those neutral fans?
-
Haha that was great. Love these guys.

Great to see Josh having some fun at the Superbowl festivities. I think after that classic game vs. The Chiefs, everyone knows now what a superstar he is.

Bills promote Matthew Smiley to ST Coordinator
HomeTeam replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills are a class organization. Between letting go of people with dignity and promoting from within, they are doing things the right way. Very proud of this organization. -
Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants
HomeTeam replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just watched dabolls press conference. I wish him well in New York. The NFL is much better when the Giants are relevant. -
End of an era. I'm always saddened when we see key players of the league retire. I.e. Manning, Brady etc.t I just makes you realize, that everything is will come to pass. I have to admit, that Tom became much more likable when he went to Tampa. He started opening up, cracking jokes etc. All the best to him in his next phase of life.

Oh man, that's kind of sad. Between that and hearing Mike Brown speak during the trophy presentation last weekend, I will be rooting for the Bengals. I will be happy to see that organization, city and fans win a Superbowl. Their story does not sound too different than that of Buffalo's.

So many SF fans in the stadium. xD

Our condolences. Thank you for coming here and letting us know. May your father rest in peace.

Sullivan: Bills' McDermott choked away Super Bowl-caliber season
HomeTeam replied to QCity's topic in The Stadium Wall
Guys, I know we are all hurting but there is no reason to start asking for coach McDermott to be fired. Criticism is fair but he's a heck of a coach and will continue to get better. He's already proven that he can grow. His willingness to go for it on fourth down this year is an example of that. Stay the course. I trust that Beane and company can have a good offseason and get us over the hump.
