Bob Kraft was passed over for the Pro Football HOF according to ESPN's Don Van Natta, Jr.. He was expected to be a shoe-in this year, now that contributors have been separated from coaches in the selection process. Instead, the committee chose Ralph Hay of the Canton Bulldogs. From the article: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/42529180/sources-hof-committee-passes-patriots-robert-kraft-again "Instead, the nine-member committee, which each year advances one name for consideration by all 50 Hall voters, chose Ralph Hay, a co-founder of the National Football League and the owner of the Canton Bulldogs from 1918 to 1922, five sources with knowledge of the decision told ESPN this week. The contributor committee's decision was made Nov. 12 and is expected to be announced by the Hall of Fame next month. Hay, along with one coaching candidate and three candidates from an earlier NFL era whose names still have not been revealed, will be considered by the full selection committee for the Hall in January 2025."

He actually trademarked the d****o that a fan threw!

Irrelevant.

I have, and it never bothered md personally.

The intent wasn't racist, perhaps but it had the effect of being racist. The perpetrators made it about race, although, perhaps, unknowingly. Their actions must be condemned. Thank you for agreeing with my point.

Yes. In America, there is a sad history of lynching black people, so it's different.
-
My fear is both KC and Buffalo win out to be 16-1 and 15-2, respectively. Kind of like Jacksonville finishing 15-1 and Tennessee 14-2 in 1999.
-
Sure, they may not have had racist intents, but there actions were racist and hurtful. Note, I did not call for hate crime charges.

Thread locked in 3...2...1.

You don't see how hanging a black person in effigy is racist???
-
Mahommes is black, so it is wrong. Plus, a noose evokes racism and a vile time in US history.
-
Doesn't matter what their intentions were; it is still racism and wrong.

Hanging a black person in effigy is racism, period. It is wrong.
-
It can be made better by appropriate action by the Bills and NFL.

It's going to be hard to keep politics out of this thread. Good candidate for a lock.

Very bad taste by Bills fan. A suspension from Highmark is in order.

Yeah. I think the nation knew if anybody had a chance to beat KC, it was Buffalo. Plus the usual Josh vs. Patrick thing. Anyway, the TV numbers, etc. is being discussed here:

I agree with your post, but do you have a link for that so people can stop questioning or doubting, especially since no one can find a source?
-
Except we will play post-season home games next year, right?! None of them can be against the Commanders.
-
If is not a mishap. According to the NFL at the link I posted above: "Each NFL team is guaranteed to play a home game at an international site every eight seasons" So everyone has to do their duty.

Good research. Note the Bills schedule for 2025 shows an asterisk by the 17th game since it is subject to change. I am going by @djp14150's post above for us being away in 2025; maybe he has a link. Nothing I can see is really official this point, but there could be more stuff out there. I can try to check further when I have the time, but I am not sure.
