  1. My fear is both KC and Buffalo win out to be 16-1 and 15-2, respectively. Kind of like Jacksonville finishing 15-1 and Tennessee 14-2 in 1999.
  2. Sure, they may not have had racist intents, but there actions were racist and hurtful. Note, I did not call for hate crime charges.
  3. Thread locked in 3...2...1.
  4. You don't see how hanging a black person in effigy is racist???
  5. Mahommes is black, so it is wrong. Plus, a noose evokes racism and a vile time in US history.
  6. Doesn't matter what their intentions were; it is still racism and wrong.
  7. Hanging a black person in effigy is racism, period. It is wrong.
  8. It can be made better by appropriate action by the Bills and NFL.
  9. It's going to be hard to keep politics out of this thread. Good candidate for a lock.
  10. Very bad taste by Bills fan. A suspension from Highmark is in order.
  11. 12. Yeah. I think the nation knew if anybody had a chance to beat KC, it was Buffalo. Plus the usual Josh vs. Patrick thing. Anyway, the TV numbers, etc. is being discussed here:
  13. 25 modern-era semifinalists for the Class of 2025: [bold = first-year eligible] QB Eli Manning LB Luke Kuechly WR Steve Smith Sr. S Earl Thomas K Adam Vinatieri DE Jared Allen LB Terrell Suggs TE Antonio Gates G/T Marshal Yanda LB James Harrison DT Vince Wilfork T Willie Anderson WR Torry Holt WR Anquan Boldin (former Buffalo Bills player 2017 off-season) WR Reggie Wayne G Jahri Evans S Rodney Harrison CB Eric Allen DE Robert Mathis RB Fred Taylor WR Hines Ward RB Ricky Watters T Richmond Webb G Steve Wisniewski S Darren Woodson
  14. I agree with your post, but do you have a link for that so people can stop questioning or doubting, especially since no one can find a source?
  15. Except we will play post-season home games next year, right?! None of them can be against the Commanders.
  16. If is not a mishap. According to the NFL at the link I posted above: "Each NFL team is guaranteed to play a home game at an international site every eight seasons" So everyone has to do their duty.
  17. Good research. Note the Bills schedule for 2025 shows an asterisk by the 17th game since it is subject to change. I am going by @djp14150's post above for us being away in 2025; maybe he has a link. Nothing I can see is really official this point, but there could be more stuff out there. I can try to check further when I have the time, but I am not sure.
  18. Yes: https://operations.nfl.com/journey-to-the-nfl/the-nfl-s-international-impact/the-nfl-international-series/#:~:text=Each season%2C there will be,they have nine home games. "Each season, there will be at least four games played internationally. Each NFL team is guaranteed to play a home game at an international site every eight seasons. As part of the league adopting a 17-game schedule in 2021, AFC and NFC teams will alternate seasons where they have nine home games. The host teams for international games will be selected from the conference with the ninth home game, so clubs still will host eight games in their home stadium. For example, since NFC teams have a ninth home game in 2022, four NFC teams will be selected to host an international game that season. Teams can still volunteer to play home games abroad, just as they have in previous seasons"
  19. We host only eight games next year, so we can't lose a home game. Away at the NFC is another story.
  20. The AFC Wast has to be away at the NFC East since we were home to them in 2021. Now it's their turn to host. Home and away each particular year does not matter to the NFL as long as the complete cycle of years balances out. Just like it was ok to be away at KC three years in a row, as we are hosting them now for straight three years (assuming we finish in the same place as them in 2025).
  21. The NFL can switch things around when a cycle comes to an end. We played home to Washington in 2021, so it makes sense to play at the NFC East for the 17th game next year.
  22. CBS can protect, but only if they get assigned the game in the first place. Also, it will be Buffalo next year at the NFC East winner, most likely Philly or Washington (assuming both of us finish in first place). And unlikely that Buffalo at Cleveland is international, since both teams are AFC and the NFC gets the extra game next year.
  23. Except, as @djp14150 noted above, we actuallg play at the NFC East next year.
  24. Also, more to your point: I checked all the Josh vs. Mahommes games in the regular season, and the network breakdown is as follows: 2020 - FOX/NFL Network (pandemic year) 2021 - NBC 2022 - CBS 2023 - CBS 2024 - CBS Prime and ESPN would love to get in the mix, but Thursday is more unlikely, given this is a premier game and the NFL wouldn't want the teams on short rest (probably, unless both teams are coming off byes or mini-byes maybe?).
  25. Well if KC wins the SB, it won't be Buffalo in the Kickoff since we host KC next year. And, yeah, the KC-Buffalo matchup has become the annual game of the year, like NE-Indy used to be. The NFL has rhe final say on deciding the network, but the individual networks have a large input.
