  1. So this is the QB we are facing getting on the plane. I never saw him up close. Looks like a spoiled brat rich kid. What the heck is he wearing? I thought he was a girl at first.
  2. Not sure if this was posted this morning in any of the three PIT-BUF game or weather threads (not reading hundreds of pages), but:
  3. Yeah, we'll know by game time (assuming we win vs. Pittsburgh). I can't see an upstart team like Houston going on the road and winning an AFCCG, especially in cold weather. Just like very new expansion team Jacksonville in 1996 who beat Buffalo in the WC (Jim Kelly's last game) and then Denver in the divsionals, but lost to New England and Drew Bledsoe in the AFCCG.
  4. Ahhh...thanks for the warning! I still have lots to learn when to comes to your guys' reporting.
  5. Reminds me of the olden days! The last time I listened to a game on the radio was in the 80's with Van Miller's call when Bills home games were blacked out (an all-too-common happening).
  6. No #3 seed has ever hosted a divisional round game since the advent of the 7-team conference playoffs in 2020. In the previous three years, #2 seeds were 6-0 vs. the #7 seeds in the WC round. That changed today with #2 Dallas's loss to #7 Green Bay, so now #3 Detroit gets to host. Things are popping in the Motor City tonight. Ralph Wilson would be happy.
  7. CBS is hoping for a Buffalo win so they don't have to move their production equipment, especially in the snow. Also: Divisional Round Winners: - CBS getting the 6:40 Sunday window with either KC-BUF or PIT-BAL. Ratings bonanza! - FOX getting the better NFC game, GB-SF over TB/PHI at DET. - NBC getting the better early timeslot, Sunday over Saturday. - ESPN/ABC finally getting a divisional playoff game! Likely hoping it's HOU-KC. Divisional Round Losers: - The Cowboys being eliminated is a big ratings blow to the networks and the NFL. FOX is probably rooting for PHI to win for a PHI vs. GB/SF title game. CBS for Super Bowl would take any of PHI/GB/SF with the Cowboys out. - Texans fans probably wish they would get a different slot other than Saturday afternoon, but not going to happen with GB-SF in play. - Seems like NBC always gets the lesser of AFC/NFC divisional games. Will that change in the future? Will ESPN/ABC get similar treatment now that they're in the rotation? We'll see. I don't think NBC is complaining about the wild card round though with KC on Peacock and an exciting LAR-DET Sunday night.
  8. Yeah, but he probably gets a bonus in his contract for doing that, lol.
  9. CBS gets the late spot Sunday for only the second time in eight years. Also: Note the 2 PM time typo in the Sunday NBC early slot. (Trying to get viewers to tune in early I guess?!?!)
  10. Buck and Aikman will call their first AFC playoff game together next weekend with the Texans at the Ravens or Chiefs.
  11. The NBC crew might as well stay in Detroit! There is no need to move the production truck and equipment. And Mike Tirico lives close by in Ann Arbor. Also: If the Bills win vs. Pittsburgh, we would get Nantz and Romo again in the divisional round. We would be 4-1 with Nantz and Romo calling our games this year: Week 4 vs. Miami (win) then three weeks in a row for us: Week 11 vs. New York Jets (win) Week 12 at Philadelphia (loss) [Week 13 bye] Week 14 at Kansas City (win) Super Wild card Weekend vs. Pittsburgh

  13. Peacock did a slick move: they set Oppenheimer to stream February 16. So if you signed up for the WC game it falls just outside the 30-day window.
  14. Eminem wants LA to throw the game because Stafford owes him a favor:
