What Should I Do With Old Sports Trading Cards?
BillyWhiteShows replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Serious ideas please... -
I have boxes of old sports cards. Most from the mid 80’s to mid 90’s. Everything from baseball, to football and some basketball too. The thing is a few year ago I looked up the prices of the cards I thought were valuable back in the day and each card was worth like .01. Not even exaggerating. An entire box set I had was going for $6.00! I highly doubt anyone would even want to pay for such low value cards. Sowhat am I supposed to do with old trading cards? I would love to sell them but it doesn’t seem like there’s any market. Right now they are collecting dust. Is the only option to throw them away or sell them for pennies on the dollar?

Dolphins expected to cut Tannehill
BillyWhiteShows replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can’t remember who, but I remember someone saying that many teams will be interested and that if he’s released he won’t be free for long -
A QB from my childhood passed away. Former Vikings QB Wade Wilson died today in Texas. I will forever remember him from my football cards and of course Techmo Super Bowl RIP

How Does a Bills Loss Affect Your Life?
BillyWhiteShows replied to Billsfanatic8989's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not a whole lot. Games have completely ruined my Sunday but I’m usually fine after that. If it gets too frustrating, I just listen to less coverage etc. -
The concept is really interesting. It’s basically AAA football for fans who want Spring football. They aren’t positioning themselves as an NFL rival - more like a feeding system and theoretically some of the AAF players will go on to play on NFL roster this summer/fall. I’ll check it out

This has been a debate among many. Who has the best wings in Buffalo? I know many will say Anchor Bar or Duffs, but people who are serious about their wings believe that there are much better places. One place I keep hearing about -Elmo’s. Never been there but heard good things

Share Your Super Bowl 53 Predictions
BillyWhiteShows replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t have a problem with it. It’s way better than the Monday or Sunday game which start about 90 minutes later. Of course, it does get annoying having to wait around all day to watch the game -
Share Your Super Bowl 53 Predictions

True I see this one going down differently -
I hate to do this, but I am going New England 34-17. I think the game is tied at halftime but the Patriots wear down the Rams defense and pull away at the end. Yea Brady is the MVP and everyone’s “wonderkid” Coach McVay shows that he’s not up to the task of outcoaching Belichick Heres a huge list of predictions from all ESPN writers. The majority seem to pick NE though its closer than last year https://es.pn/2Uzojpp

Great coach with a HOF QB and just 1 SB a decade ago to show for it. A bit underwhelming when the great choice on Sunday will have won 6 of them and played in 9 Super Bowls.

This is something my good friend and I talked about this. Do you think the Bills would have won Super Bowl 27 if Frank Reich started the game? After the big comeback game, the Bills were on a roll. They scored a huge victory on the road against a Pittsburgh team who was favored to win. The Bills ended up winning handedly 24-3 and were hot! They seemed to be rolling with Reich as QB. Also the Bills teams seemed to rally around Reich whenever he started. Reich never was the most physically gifted QB, but he was smart and it just seemed like the team played harder when he was in the lineup. The offense seemed to be much more focused and determined. As for Kelly, he wasn’t the same when he returned against Miami in the AFC Championship game. The Bills got the victory, but that was largely due to a good rushing day and a strong defensive performance. Most of Kelly’s yards came off screen passes, and he struggled in the redzone. Then came Super Bowl 27....arguably one of Kelly’s worst performances as starter. He ended up getting knocked out of the game and turned the ball several times. Yes, Reich did come in the game when Kelly was hurt but by then it was too late. I’m not saying that starting Reich guarantees a win by any means. But if he starts and put more points on the board early (which Kelly failed to do), we could see a different Super Bowl. What does everyone think?

6 Potential QB coach candidates

My vote is for Kyle Orton -
Rob Ryan hired as Redskins LB coach

I’d pay to see Rob get down in the ILB stance -
Potential Bubble players from Spotrac

It makes a lot of sense but from all indications the Bills have been very pleased with Star. I can’t see them cutting him in year 2, considering his first year was far from a disaster -
Call me skeptical but the timing of this seems a little coincidental. It makes me wonder if the Bills were considering adding another QB coach and he saw the writing on wall. Then again it is a promotion, so who knows? It is really a huge loss though? I feel like that’s quite the exaggeration. Based on what we saw from Allen this year, I think its safe to say that Cullen did a pretty good job. But then again, we saw the most improvement from Allen after he was injured and got to work with Barkley and Anderson. Is Culley a loss? Maybe, but I don’t think it’s as big as you make it out to be.

Barnwell has Bills at 6 wins in 2019
BillyWhiteShows replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The whole premise of this article is pretty stupid considering Free Agency, Salary Cap, and the draft has yet to place. Take this article with a grain of salt, because it’s a total guessing game based on the past season -
NRC still hates the Pats from when he was a Bill
BillyWhiteShows replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly.... also I am a big fan of Dunne and think he’s a great writer. But like some fans, he doesn’t seem to dump on McDermott quite a bit. -
I think that we saw Wood for exactly what he was - a good player and team leader. He did make 1 Pro Bowl but most of the time he was a notch below the elite Centers in the league.

Jim Kelly wants to sit down with Josh Allen...
BillyWhiteShows replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It doesn’t sound like he wants to coach him, just sit down and talk about the QB position. I don’t see the harm. I will say though, it does kind of throw shade at the Bills offensive coaching. It can be read as though they aren’t as qualified to coach him. I know what Jim is saying, but I could understand if it was interpreted the other way
