  1. Tim Grahm has sources - says there’s nothing to the Bell rumors
  2. So is it fair to say, that the Bills preferred Morse over Paradis?
  3. Yeah I guess, but when you consider that the majority of those losing was derived from the dysfunction caused from an owner who wouldn’t step aside. In terms of cities, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Cleveland are a little bigger they aren’t much better. All of those cities took a dive thanks to the decline of industry and outsourcing Interesting.... I do know that taxes are lower in some cities but the cost of living is higher. So in the end, it probably evens ojtout
  4. Detroit is awful. I would say worse that Buffalo. Pittsburgh and Cleveland are not much better as far as a destination. What kills Buffalo is the 5th highest state tax.
  5. Yeah as a Bills fan, I was a little disappointed to see the moves. This has backfired on teams on teams in the past, let’s hope it happen to NYJ
  6. Maccagan must be feeing the hot seat. He’s gone all out in Doug Whaley-like desperation to sign big names in Free Agency to phat contracts including: Anthony “The” Barr CJ Mosely Jamison Crowder Josh Bellamy The retaining of Robby Anderson and Big Quince Enunwa. And they may not be done as rumors are flying they are interested in Matt Paradis and possibly L’evion Bell. Its easy to say that so far the Jets have “won the offseason” like Rex Ryan would say. But will it matter? It’s not hard to throw around guaranteed cash and sign players to big contracts. We saw Buddy Nix and Whaley do this as Bills fans. Loading a team doesn’t work unless they are properly utilized. For that to happen you need good coaching in place, which comes down to Adam Gase and Greggggggg Williams. Gase has been accused by Miami fans of squandering talent on several different rosters, and didn’t do very much to reclaim Ryan Tannehil. Do you worry about the Jets next season after these splashy FA moves?
  7. He sucked with Miami last year. Stay away from old man Gore
  8. I was thinking about this too but struggled with how to phrase it. I think it’s impressive how Beane was able to draft a QB, when everyone knew it, and he didn’t get fleeced in the process. I think he played it very well. Maybe I will add that one It was more a joke! I didn’t expect anyone to actually select it I would. Ever since his injuries his availability has been very limited. When he has been heathy he didn’t perform that great. Maybe average at best - certainly not worthy of his big contract. He didn’t have a great year for Cincy last year
  9. This week, the spotlight has been shown on Bills GM Brandon Beane for the odd circumstances around the Antonio Brown fiasco. Over the course of the past few days, Beane has been given a lot of credit. His attempt to trade for Brown at a much reduced rate, has been perceived as an aggressive move indicative of someone who wants to win and help his young QB develop. The decision to pull the offer of of the table, whether it was for refusal or money, is a move that many fans and journalists felt was necessary. On the other hand, Brown has made himself look even worse. Pittsburgh also ended up looking pretty bad for allowing a player to essentially dictate the terms of where he'll be trading to, despite not having a clause in his contract. Regardless, Beane has shown that he isn't afraid to make big moves if they will help the team. From the list below, choose which move you feel was his most impressive as Bills GM. Also there may be a few that I have forgotten and if that's the case, suggest it and I will consider adding it
  10. Thank you for sharing. This is the type of show I need to listen to!
  11. That’s real nice but the article says nothing about compensation getting returned
  12. This whole AB situation got me thinking. What happens if the Bills pulled the trigger on Brown and traded for him, despite the fact that he said he wouldn’t report. Once the trade is consummated, if a player refuses to report to the team that traded for him and sits out an entire season (a la Bell) can the team void the trade? If they can’t void the trade then it shows how players ultimately hold the power....not the GM or team.
  13. Turn off the “must sign in option” and you’ll get more responses
  14. Would not surprise me to see Washington still in the market for a QB. Ditto for Denver
  15. He had a few good years but never was worth the giant size contract he was given. He also took the biggest nosedive. Two years after one of his best seasons, he was out of the league. All in all, not one of the best signings. Then again, not the worst It wasn’t Rex. Mario did nothing in Miami and couldn’t get even a contract the next season. He went downhill super fast
  16. Mario Williams 2.0....we don’t want another one of those contracts on the books
  17. Because like Wade Phillips, including Lynn on the poll is a slam dunk. He’d take most of the vote. What’s the point of doing a poll when all but 1 of the choices are undesirable?
