Age doesn’t seem to have brought him wisdom or perspective yet.
I like him as a player and small doses off the field but I’m sure he/his personality would be hard to be around for more than that.
One more interesting aspect of that fiasco was brown going off for the series as “injured”. If he had been legitimately injured and missed games I wonder what the repercussions would’ve been for Williams
He’s playing and building trust in the knee. I’m hopeful for him but also not overly concerned with our ability to generate pressure without him. Him being 100% would be a luxury at this point.
It seems like the shotgun runs used to have the added threat of josh running it (qb option/RPO) but they’ve eliminated that and kept the straight handoff which only works with the other components. Running out of shotgun is a gimmick/gimmicky play and only works as such.
I can’t imagine the Seahawks beating the bengals. The Seahawks might win some games they shouldn’t but they won’t win the games you want them to win (as bills fans). They’re in the same group as the rams and the chargers.
I could envision a 5-1-5, with the right personnel, where they either rush 5 or rush 4 leaving one of the linemen to spy or drop into coverage (situationally)
obviously as a special package, not a standard d
I seem to remember patriots games where they barely passed and games where they primarily passed. It was often said they would game plan against the opponent’s weakness.
