This trade makes the Texans better and the bills worse this year. addition by subtraction isn’t likely this year. hopefully this pays off 2-3 years from now for the bills. I can see beane trading up in the first round for something splashy. I’d rather they trade down and try to acquire even more 2025 draft capital. This team is only going as far as Milano takes them this year.

Was going to post something similar. The way our defense has let us down in the playoffs essentially requires josh to play perfectly. I believe there are aspects of Josh’s game he could improve but it’s way down the list of things the team could/should/need (to) improve. If you follow the reasoning behind the criticism of josh it leads to criticism of McDermott. his defensive philosophy falls apart in the playoffs, or at least there are other teams that do a much better job on that side of the ball in the playoffs.

Josh is awesome and is not above criticism. He is great and there are things he could improve.

I think the chiefs sort of kill this argument.

My wife is a bears fan. I’m not sure how fields got his halo but people seem to think he’s good. I never saw it. The dude is a career backup at best imo.

Chiefs are still the team to beat

(Gut feeling) I don’t think we can afford him. He’s going to demand a huge contract and we can’t afford to have that much capital invested in good players rather than hall of fame/elite. I only see him as a bad value resigning. He’s good but I’d rather use the resources elsewhere. (I’m open to the possibility that I’m completely wrong)

Texans gamble on Vikings being bad next year.

Too big. Not trying to be a jerk, guy has like 80 pounds of extra muscle weight (50%). Feel like he’d blow a knee out early and often in the NFL.

I hope the bills pick defense 9 out of 11 picks.
