  1. I would love to see the Bills employ the read option play next year. Used sparingly, it's a great way to get a running QB going.
  2. I think this list is as good as any with the caveat that I think McCoy will be the starting TB in 2019.
  3. Bingo! The one thing I noticed watching last weeks Jets game is how poorly Ivory & Murphy pass blocked. Shady can read defenses and has a sense for whose coming on the blitz. His ability to pick these defenders up is critical to giving Allen that extra second in the pocket to hit a play downfield. If McCoy can go he should definitely play. He remains by far Buffalo's most dangerous receiver out of the back field and his blitz pickup is heads & tails better then the other RB's.
  4. Wow! Just wow! Now do the Chiefs have a Nashville miracle up their sleeve!
  5. For now but in the long run the game has an officiating and rules problem which will one day kill tha goose that's layign the golden eggs.
  6. Agreed and IMO those are worse then the non-call. It just turns the game into a cluster frack.
  7. Agree but the proof will be next week at Seattle and in the playoffs. It's hard to believe his absence won't hurt the Chiefs.
  8. Nice play by Kelcey. Route running is an under appreciated skill - at least in Buffalo. The difference between the patterns run by the Chiefs receivers and our guys is quite apparent.
  9. The inconsistency of NFL officiating is frustrating. Two refs saw the face mask but neither saw the obvious grounding.
  10. And as a result neither QB is putting up great numbers and Rivers has 2 INT's and should have had a 3rd and Mahomes is lucky he didn't have an INT at the end of the half.
  11. I'll trade our #85 to SD for their #85 and I would really like to trade our #85 to KC for their #87!
  12. Five! I figured my ONE box was a valuable collectors item. Now I'm thinking it's worth about $2.99 as there are probably about 100,000 boxes sitting in food pantry's all across Western NY. Hell if the apocalypse happens civilization will be reborn by those of us eating our Flutie Flakes when the food runs out.
  13. To be fair, on the Chiefs KB is about the 4th player a defense has to worry about. In Buffalo, for all his dogging it, he still was the guy opposing defenses treated as the Bills #1 receiving threat.
  14. That was nice throw and while he's patient he also has time in the pocket. We have a KB sighting! Catch for 17 yards.
  15. And what was Dead Pool thinking giving out a bottle of gin! Bradshaw is probably wrestling with Strahan to get his hands on that bottle.
  16. Okay you convinced me. When the Bills make the Super Bowl I'm breaking out the Flutie Flakes!
  17. I don't know about eating those things - can you imagine what might be growing among the flakes after all these years!
  18. As you can see, luck plays a role in these games. I'm a bit surprised at how low scoring this game has been.
  19. Hell, I would have settled for going with Flutie over Rob Johnson. As an aside, I still have an unopened box of Flutie flakes!
  20. Now that's fair. It's hindsight but at the very least maybe McD could have squeezed Reid for another draft pick.
  21. To be clear: * I think the obsession with Mahommes by some Bills fans is weird because there's nothing that can be done to change what happened. It's water under the damn bridge. If NFL front offices knew that Mahommes would have the year he's having now he would have been the #1 pick in the 2017 draft. That he wasn't is simply a testimony to how smart Reid is when it comes to QB's. * But NONE of this has anything to do with Allen. The Bills did not pick Allen over Mahommes they picked Allen over Jackson & Rosen.
  22. Are you saying that Allen was trending to be the #1 pick in 2018 in 2017? I watched a couple of games of his while at Wyoming and while the talk was about his great potential I don't remember anyone saying that he was in the running as the top pick. I could be wrong but Allen flew up the draft chart after he started working out for teams and they saw first hand his elite arm talent and how after just a little work with Jordan Palmer had significantly improved his footwork. Mahommes had completed his first year in the NFL at the time that anyone started to seriously suggest that Allen might be the top pick. As it was two QB's went ahead of Allen.
  23. Exactly right. Sure blame the Bills management for this, though it doesn't change a thing, because no matter how much we wish Mahomes played for the Bills, he never will. More importantly, Allen is not part of this discussion. The Bills did not choose Allen over Mahommes. They choose Allen over Rosen & Jackson and if either of these two start playing like Mahommes then Bills fans can B word & moan. Right now it just strikes me as a weird obsession.
