Question for the resident refs - after the pass with the great catch Winston got bumped out of bounds WAY after the play and he went down hard and seemed to be hurt. His next 3 passes were bad. Why the hell wasn't that a penalty on the Seelers?

The Browns are 2 - 8 for a reason. Those defensive penalties were both avoidable.

If Allen slides there is what, 2:20 left? KC calls a TO. Bills run into the line, 2nd down KC calls their last TO with 2:10 left. Bills run into the line, 3rd down, 2 minute warning. After the 2 minute warning, Bills run but don't make the 1st down so now it's 4th down. Bills call TO with 1:16 left. Bills kick FG leaving about 1:13 on the clock. Mahomes gets ball back with no TO's needing a TD and only 1:13 left. Are you feeling confident we win? The odds of Mahomes scoring the game winning TD under these circumstances is much better then the Chiefs going down and scoring and then recovering an onside kick and scoring again which is what they needed after Allen's game sealing TD run.

This would suggest that his injury was in fact limiting him. I suspect that coming out of the bye we'll see more Samuel jet sweeps and runs.

I agree and more often then not I'm one of those who thinks McD has held the Bills back in the playoffs. But given the player departures this season and the fact that the majority of the football media expected the Bills to significantly slide there is no reason McD shouldn't be a top 3 candidate for coach of the year.

Alternatively Jerry doesn't want them to play Lance because he is so bad people will ask why the hell he gave up a FOURTH round pick for the guy?

I'll defend Brady here. The goal was to at least get a yard, keep the clock running and have a 4th & 1 that would have allowed the Bills to run the Allen sneak which has been money in the bank. The TD sealed the game because it meant that KC would have to recover an onside kick if they scored again. Of all the possible outcomes, like the Bills getting another 1st down to run out the clock, this was the one that gave Buffalo the best chance to win.

This season has also been a great example of how Allen truly does elevate the skill players around him. This allows Bean to be mindful of the bank. This is also the flexibility that Mahomes gives the Chiefs.

Mahomes was fine but IMO Allen made more top level throws then Maomes yesterday. Both throws to Cooper, two to Samuel, one to Knox downfield, the great throw to Shakir on 3rd & 9 and a perfect throw to Samuel where the ONLY option for the Chiefs defender was to commit PI.

Yes but didn't he assume Kincaid's role and Morris assume Knox's blocking role? With Kincaid back Knox will go back to a role where he primarily blocks which along with Brown are two key factors in the success of the Bills running attack.

Disagree. Even after making the first down the Chiefs had to keep Allen out of the end zone. They could have still have held the Bills to a FG then would have got the ball back with no TO's but probably more then a minute on the clock. In fact the Chiefs defenders looked a lot like most defenders look when Allen breaks off a long run like that - think against Indy and the called back TD run against Miami. Allen's combination of size and sneaky speed make it tough to tackle him in the open field. The defender has to balance a couple of factors as they try to bring him down and by then it's to late.

Missing BOTH Brown and Knox in the run game was big.

Damn, Herbert is going to get the rep of an elite level choke artist if the Chargers lose this game. My goodness every season we see the same thing - the guy makes all the throws and lights up the stat sheet but when it matters...............................He needs to change that narrative starting tonight or it's going to look like a fundamental flaw.

Allen was masterful in leading the Bills to those back to back 4th quarter TD drives. And hats off to Brady for calling aggressive plays and to McD for giving them the green light.

Agree 100%. Think about what Allen accomplished at the end of the game. Sure the TD run was great but when the Chiefs were revving up the comeback engine to steal the game Allen took the Bills on back to back long TD drives to win. Those last 2 drives were masterfully directed by Allen both on the ground ad through the air.

I know how it ends if they don't convert that 3rd down the Bills lose.

Enough with the "sensitive" remarks. It's unhinged to claim that Allen caused Kindcaid's injury by throwing a poor pass. A one foot (at most) overthrow is a run of the mill miss in the NFL when throwing deep downfield. As far as comparing this year's catch percentage to last seasons and claiming the drop is due to Allen being off target ignores the more likley explanation that Kincaid is being covered this year by better caliber DB's and the opposing DCs are game planing to stop him in ways they weren't last season.

The post claimed that Kincaid's injury was a result of Allen overthrowing him by a foot. It is not "hypersensitive" to point out that this is an unhinged comment.

This is a new level of passive/aggressive Allen hate. So he caused Kincaid to be hurt? BTW, most of Allen's passes to Kincaid are spot on as they're pretty damn short. The long pass yesterday missed by a foot at most. By my count I saw several passes thrown on Sunday that missed wiiiiiiiiide open receivers down field. It's weird to me all the different kinds of shade some Bills fans find to throw at Allen. This is a new and particularly bad one IMO.

Why would he risk a hamstring injury chasing Flacco at a meaningless point in the game? Remember when he ran alongside Millano on that pic 6 and tore his hammy? Phillips is n the team to play in 10 - 15 snaps a game when we need beef in the middle.
