Unfortunately I’m not seeing Miami lose this game. What a bummer. -

Met Jabir Walker a few years back. Said his passion for becoming an NFL official was because he was able to stick around and still be involved in the game after playing a short career in the CFL. Pretty cool guy. -

Bills Hire DJ Mangas as Offensive Assistant

For sure. Dude dominated the leagues widely rated best RT in Lane Johnson during both outings against Philly. Problem for us indeed. Probably see Knox chipping him most plays. -

Brady’s done a good job but fresh eyes will help, the second half of that game had some rough stretches offensively. -
If Eppy and Floyd are gone and they resign Gabe, I see that as a definite possibility. Let’s hope not ‘cause Josh needs someone else out there catching the ball. As of late, and I hate to say or see this, Kincaid is about the only sure thing out there. Diggs has made plays here or there but something isn’t right. Gave is still Gabe and Cook has had some howlers. Don’t think drafting a WR is a sure thing at all but you at least need to try and get him someone else. Maybe they do it via FA instead? Mike Evans, Pittman Jr., Calvin Ridley, Curtis Samuel and Tyler Boyd are hitting the market. Not a bad bunch, not great either.
-
Agreed. I think if the chance was there as a “F U” to Buffalo, they were going to take it… Could you imagine if that play stood… woof!
-
Great point. Maybe Toney didn’t do his due diligence then? Either way, you can’t play/do a job for millions of dollars and be taught something that should be second nature. I mean, you’re always looking in-field as a downfield target so you have to know you’re lined up incorrectly.

The weekly "most suspicious officiating moments in the game" thread
BBFL replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
There’s been major changes… Like I said, you’re paying millions to have people review plays for the officiating crews. If that doesn’t tell you they feel there can be errors made in every game then sure, they think it’s precisely the way it should be. -
If you’ve been playing organised football for years and are now a professional athlete getting paid to do so, the simplest rule of the game for your position shouldn’t need a “warning”. Only players who ever should be offside is a defender at the LOS. That’s testament to the hardship he’s had to endure without immediate success and winning… Even then I don’t think Josh has that meltdown if he landed in the Chiefs and Andy Reid’s system…

The weekly "most suspicious officiating moments in the game" thread

Never in 35 years of watching the NFL product have I seen so many wrong calls in a game as I have over the past few seasons. Becomes even weirder when everything is essentially reviewed by a team they probably pay millions a year to… Inexcusable. -
Our melon farmer is indeed a unicorn.

As it should. That was Josh’s regular character; a guy who makes jaw dropping plays. Patty needs to be showing that frustration behind closed doors to this guy and this guy alone:
-
Thankfully Josh has never acted like Patty did last night on the sidelines. I get it, you’re annoyed a call didn’t go your way and possibly lost you the game… Seen it be that way for Josh and the gang countless times. Never seen that reaction. Several posters have mentioned entitlement about his post game comments… Couldn’t agree more. What class from a guy who’s done it all in a short span.

The "McDermott Handicap" and hopefully a solution

He’s a lost boy… -
Dallas have had a relatively easy schedule so I understand the swing not being that great… The sole difference is Dallas has pretty much hung 30-40 routinely on all those teams. Good or bad, they’re scoring points against them. Going to have to be on top form with zero errors. Especially since the season is essentially on the line again.
-
Learning to type again was a really drawn out process. I have no idea how I hung in there.

If we beat Dallas next week, we making the playoffs
BBFL replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we win, it’s going to be another nail biter. Dallas are churning points out right now… 49, 33, 45, 41 and on pace for another 40 tonight… The offense is undeniably better than it has been this season but it’s going to be tough having no miscues and going against a decent D. Let’s hope McD can pull something special together and be this mastermind of a coach many claim him to be. Have confidence in a win but, again, it won’t be pretty; another nail biter. -
I got lynched for saying weeks ago that he looks a little checked out and not 100% in it. Always seems bothered by not being targeted but then proceeds to do very little or nothing with the targets he’s seeing. Secondly, someone said it best in the GDT; how does Stefon get a pass for drops but Davis and the rest of the gang get burned at the stake?!

Don’t need to make a big stop when an opposing player does it for you…

One of my most amusing moments ever as a Bills fan... The Trateral
BBFL replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have watched this play like 50 times 😂 Kelce cheering, Toney High Stepping, refs flagging, Bills winning… Love it! -
Toney. He gets the only game ball IMO.
-
That Toney play is hilarious and even more sweeter with his cocky high stepping into the EZ BRILLIANT!
-
So if KC convert and win is McD even worthy of keeping his job with another blunder to lose a game?
