Did Harbaugh Call Timeout Too Quickly?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Last Guy on the Bench's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had this theory the other day. This same exact one when comparing Buffalo & Baltimore teams and I think it does hold some weight. I’m trying to think of big games that Lamar had to gut it out to win ? Definitely no playoff games -
Well, another worthless stat..total QBR
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
They made that FG drive look effortless. Just pinpoint throws in stride allover the field with a clear path out of bounds. The Ravens should’ve went for it. I’ll die on that hill. The Browns ? No. -

If that’s what the analytics say then they need to invent an entirely new formula for Josh Allen because he continues to defy the odds. I understand your point, but you won’t even consider mine. You have a 2 time MVP QB and a HOF RB. All you need is 3 yards to pick up the first down and ice the game. Your offense has been successful albeit an uncharacteristical (idk if that’s even a Fing word) fumble by Henry and a couple stalled drives. Your other option is to kick to a red hot Bills offense who just put up nearly 250 yards of offense on you in ONE quarter and you’re on the ROAD. Come on, man. 🤦♂️ -
Dion Dawkins restructured- $7.8M cap space
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
if we see another ***** performance by them I think Buffalo needs to start looking at trade options. By all accounts, the Bills are all in this year. They had no problem grabbing Cooper when their offense was sputtering. I really think Beane could make a move for a Safety -
Have the Jets ever felt like a real rival?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I grew up in Rochester, but spent the other half of my life in NYC and the tristate. The Jets were absolutely my most hated rival only because I had to deal with their fans on the daily. Since they sucked it’s been kind of hard to hate them. Sometimes I’ll even catch myself rooting for them just because I know what it’s like being a fan of such a dysfunctional franchise. Currently, I look at the other top AFC teams as the biggest competition. Chiefs are number 1 by a landslide followed by Ravens and Bengals. -
Game Week thread - Bills at Jets
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
When the Steelers 3rd string pummeled the Bledsoe & the Bills in the last week of the 2005 (?) season I started to believe in trap games. I can think of several instances where Buffalo came off a big win only to lose to an inferior opponent the following week. And I don’t mean the Bills are going to lose. What I mean is people shouldn’t be surprised if the Jets can make it a game. Divisional games are usually tough, but whatever. I’ll take the negative reaction. Funny bc I got a ton on the game day thread for being TOO positive about the chances of a comeback. Now I’m too negative. Going into week 2 I feel like we are left with more questions than answers. The defensive effort was very concerning. McDermott better count his lucky stars that he has possibly the greatest offensive weapon in the history of pro football because i guarantee you this place would be as anti-McD as it’s been since “13 seconds.” edit: Allowing 40 points at home in week 1 is inexcusable. Even to Baltimore. The defense looked lost out there up until the last 10 minutes of the game. McDermott/Babich did not have them prepared at all. -

This has all the signs of a trap game. Bills just came off a very tough and emotional win. -
Defense Will be Back Loaded......

They will need Hairston. I have a bad feeling the Chiefs are going to make a play for Tyreek. -

Then we are in total disagreement. If my offense dropped 40 on you and basically moved up & down the field all game long (minus a couple drives) I am betting on them to get 3 measly yards. The alternative is to give to Josh Allen & the Bills with all momentum going their way ? I go for it every single time without a second thought. -

Nothing wrong with that, but analytics are certainly useful. Not nearly as useful in football as they are in baseball. Still a good tool for coaches. -
The ball literally bounced in Buffalo’s way on every occasion. The planets aligned perfectly at the end for that comeback. Makes sense as they had a 99.3% shot of losing up until that point. I also wanted to point out how close the GW FG was to being blocked. They escaped this one very lucky with a W.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW – I Never Leave Early
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, it was an embarrassment as a fan that people left early. I guess it’s easier for me to say because I watched on TV, but down 15 points with 3 time outs and ample time on the clock ? I don’t care how bad the defense is playing. -

The Vikings had a very good thing with Darnold. Totally shortsighted to let him get away. They should’ve put McCarthy in a Jordan Love situation with 3-4 years to really learn the position and keep building up their roster. -

Nailed it. Kickers are something else these days when a 58 yarder is just another day at the office. -
Nominee for Weak Excuse of the Year
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Harbaugh has plenty enough talent to win a championship. He’s pissing away a very elite roster. Lamar Jackson and Henry are generation talents. They continuously underachieve every season. Sound familiar ? -

This Bears game is the football equivalent of watch paint dry. -
How much better is the Ravens team on paper than the Bills?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel as the year progresses, the talent gap between the 2 teams will close dramatically. Guys like Keon Coleman, Kincaid, and Shakir will all cement themselves as solid starters. One of these defensive rookies is going to break, but I’m not sure which. -
Nominee for Weak Excuse of the Year
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ravens fans have to be asking the same exact questions about Harbaugh/Jackson Bills fans have been asking about McDermott/Allen. Is a generational talent being wasted ? Their coach has a pretty consistent habit of choking away pretty big games. Joe Flacco was 13 years ago. Harbaugh can’t coast off that ring forever. He inherited a lot of those great Ravens defenders. -

Pound for pound I think he’s just as physical as any skill player we’ve got. His RAC is always near the top and they trusted him to run up the gut for a crucial 3rd down conversion.

I was thinking that too. He was surprisingly quiet when you’d think they would need him even more. Extremely quiet actually. 1 reception for 5 yards 😆 still in the dog house from last year ?
