  1. Brady is also pretty limited physically. Incredibly slow, GOOD (not elite) arm, derpy looking frame, etc. None of that matters. Baker could never emulate Allen’s playing style or running ability, but I don’t agree w/ the whole “ceiling” thing w/ QBs. I’ve seen too many Brady’s and Montanas in my lifetime. Do I think Baker will ever become as good as Allen? Heck no. Just don’t write him off bc of his smaller frame & arm. What he lacks in those areas, he makes up for in accuracy which is THE most important thing along w/ leadership.
  2. Rodgers is the Floyd Mayweather of quarterbacks. Kind of boring, but definitely one of the best to do it. Brett Favre had a lot of fun playing and that just made him a more fun player to watch.
  3. A lot of football players are absolute sweethearts off the field, but when they put on the pads they turn into monsters. Some guys don’t know how to shut that off and then that’s when it becomes a problem.
  4. No chance IMO. Sanders’ versatility will come in handy especially when or if players start getting injured. If Diggs goes down, he’s the only guy I feel comfortable with sliding into the #1 spot.
  5. We haven’t had a proper GM since Polian. The guy knows how to build an offense & defense. Before it always felt like the Bills could only field good defenses.
  6. Oddly, I actually remember that thread. That was a good call. Lamar gets a LOT of hate. Kind of reminds me of Mike Vick in a lot of ways, but with a much better team around him + less of a dirt bag. Anyways, when Vick went to Philly I feel he reached his full potential. The Ravens are at a crossroad. They need to open the offense up more and let Lamar do his thing even if it leads to some stupid decisions once in awhile. Running QB shelf lives are much shorter than your classic pocket guys. He needs to do what Josh Allen and Russell Wilson do and use his legs when necessary simultaneously keeping the defense honest. I liked Baker Mayfield because of his accuracy, the fact that he was a walk on, and his DGAF attitude. He seemed like a good fit for a small market team like the Bills or Browns. I didn’t (and still don’t) think he will ever become elite, but possibly a borderline top 10 guy that could bring stability to a team that lacked a good passer for a long time.
  7. This is almost word for word the way I feel. I waited to do my deep dive into Allen after we drafted him like a lot of people. I will say before the draft and after initially watching his highlights, I was extremely impressed. Then I got into all the ridiculous scouting reports, talking heads’ opinions, etc. I got brainwashed into thinking Allen was an unsafe pick. After that, I stopped paying attention to what these media scouts had to say about anybody. From now on I trust that the Bills know what they’re doing. A quarterbacks personality is very underrated. You have your Ryan Leafs and then you have Josh Allen. Both tip-top physical specimens, but each has a very different mental make-up. I’m not sure how I feel about Trey Lance, I haven’t done my homework on him, but I hear he is similar to Allen. Time for YouTube.
  8. Somebody will step into that starting RB role for the Rams and they won’t miss a beat. If Aaron Donald went down then it would be a different story. I’d advise people who play Fantasy to take a flyer on the backup RB for LA. 💯
  9. Oh, I was here. It was 90% Rosen. I was a Baker guy, but I knew he wouldn’t be there by the time we picked (I thought the Jets were the ones who would get him.) Allen to me was a huge risk, but a very attractive pick nonetheless. Fortunately, we aren’t all GMs here.
  10. Being of White Trash myself I find this in bad taste. 😒
  11. I agree with the switch. Imagine a team called the Buffalo Black Guys or the Phoenix Filipinos. The “Guardians” is just stupid, though.
  12. Good. I hope he has a great year unless it’s against us. I have no ill will towards the guy, just a bit upset we lost him. With the progression of the Bills offense, a directional punter makes more sense due to the shorter fields they will be facing at the end of failed drives.
  13. The Bills FO & coaching staff seem to value versatility above all else. I agree that Davis could play inside also. In the event of a Diggs injury possibly even #1 in a year or 2 if he keeps progressing. Great size, good route running, strong hands, and toe dragging. He’s some one I’m keeping a close eye on this year.
  14. I hate to say it, but Tom Brady is the Michael Jordan of football. I would love a chance for the Bills to face him in the Super Bowl and win. That’s my ultimate Bills fan fantasy.
  15. Nobody said he was a servant. The Bills gave him a chance and the fans embraced him. I just feel like it was a selfish move by him. He can go play for the Chargers then.
  16. The Emmanuel Sanders signing was kind of surprising to me. I understand they need a guy to take the “top off” of the defense, but I thought the John Brown release was because of the rising star of Gabe Davis. I still think he has a better statistical year than Sanders. I think the two 1000+ yard receivers will be him and Diggs. I think he is definitely an outside guy and a prototypical #2. I think he proved that against Indy in the playoffs.
  17. I wonder what Bruce Smith would’ve commanded in this era in his prime? Possibly Aaron Donald money?
  18. Sorry, but punters shouldn’t hold that kind of leverage.
  19. I chose “other.” Cole Beasley. I strongly feel he won’t be on the team come September. 😔
  20. Sorry, I just don’t really feel bad about this. If people are having arguments over football resulting in physical violence/homicide then they obviously need to get their priorities in order. Yes, I’ll talk **** about division rivals, but it’s usually all in fun. Eagles fans are the worst. 💯
  21. Social media will be the demise of the world. Unfortunately, I agree with this. I just have that gut feeling also. It’s going to be a huge loss for this offense.
  22. This is exactly what set him apart from the other quarterbacks of his class. The guy has been an underdog his whole life. There’s no doubt he would’ve went #1 if teams knew what they know. Thank God the Browns and Jets GMs are dumb ***es.
  23. Never understood why they got rid of Bojo. The punt against Miami at the one inch line is among the best I’ve ever seen + plus the guy could BOOM it. As far as Roberts goes, I think he is easily replaced by McKenzie. Cole Beasley is the biggest factor in all of this. If he is lost then the offense will be missing a huge piece.
