This was my train of thought. I assumed McD was pulling a Bellichick (not cheating) and making Minny game plan against 2 QBs. It obviously makes sense, why wouldn’t you ? Teams have been doing this for years, idk why people are that surprised. You don’t reveal any information until you absolutely have to. Buffalo has not even made an announcement yet about Allen’s status.

People say this rushing offense is so bad, but have they really actually tried running with any consistency? You can’t expect that when they play call runs so sporadically. I mean Singletary actually has a fairly high average yards gained. I think Dorsey can scheme up something. It’s just Josh is so damn good so why take a chance and mess with that when we are scoring points pretty consistently?

Agreed. Buffalo’s defense on average has allowed 14.8 ppg season total and 19 ppg for the last 3 games. I’m pretty confident Keenum/Diggs and company can produce 2 TDs and a FG, but the sweet spot would be 21 points. We will see how good of a coordinator Dorsey really is and whether he can manufacture a few TDs minus Allen. I expect them to throw in some Jet sweeps/reverses and rely heavily on running/field position game. A defensive or special teams TD would be absolutely huge in determining the outcome. OP got some flack, but he’s right that this is a very important AFC game.

Idk. Allen played horribly for sure, but in the end he put us in position to win. It was a BS call, let’s call a spade a spade. I hate when people say a team “deserves” to lose. What happened before shouldn’t matter. Plenty of QBs have had sloppy games and end up winning. That flag never should’ve been thrown. Refs should never dictate the outcome of a game unless the penalty is blatant.

Exactly. Who have the Vikings really beat? The Dolphins minus Tua? The Cardinals, Lions, Packers, Saints, Commanders are all garbage. The only quality opponent they faced (Eagles) destroyed them and held them to 7 points. I think they are paper tigers. Meanwhile, the Bills have wins against the Ravens, Chiefs, Rams, and Titans. A much more impressive resume. People are foolish if they think we can’t win. I’m not saying it’s a certainty, but def possible. Keenum obviously has chemistry with Diggs, the running game is better than people think, and the Defense & pass rush is tops in the league. Edit: this is all hypothetical because Allen WILL play.
