  1. Despite his cheapness, somehow Kelly became the highest paid QB/player in the league when he finally signed his deal in ‘86… “Mr. Wilson alluded to the fact that he’s sometimes called cheap and he’s sometimes castigated for not doing what he can to build a championship team,” General Manager Bill Polian said. “The fact that Jim is sitting here to my left is an enduring monument to Ralph Wilson’s commitment to building a winner for the city of Buffalo.” https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1986-08-19-sp-16974-story.html
  2. OP, this is all beyond cool, and very happy for you! And congrats, sounds like you’ve got a keeper, and that’s worth the most! I too look forward to making the pilgrimage soon—looking at the Texans game hopefully. Also very gratifying to see all of the quality contributors here with their feedback, I’m taking notes .
  3. It was all basically downhill for the Cards from there, whilst our Buff Bills went on a roll, possibly helped along by the motivating feeling that game’s ending provided…
  4. What happens to my eyes when I watch this kid throw…
  5. Sorry to hear about that—but glad you discovered it timely!
  6. He’s one of many around here. Perhaps the question is better posed as which poster isn’t and shouldn’t? 😉
  7. McD’s hats are customized mini beach umbrellas. That is all.
  8. Arby’s curly fries are very underrated, McD’s has best fries bar none, provided they just came out of the fryer with at least semi-clean oil—I worked the grill during high school, and if you go when it’s super busy, best chance to get freshest food including the fries in fresh oil so long as you don’t mind waiting some.
  9. That was my go to last year, via my nephew. Worked like a charm, all streaming any device through the app.
  10. Well played, getting an Ertz reference in on a JK/JA comp thread!
  11. Kelly’s changed a lot since his retirement, he’s admitted that himself—staying in the Western NY area and committing himself to all sorts of charitable causes nonstop, definitely good to see! For some more on that backstory and what caused his personal life turnaround, I can recommend, “A Playbook for Dads,” a worthwhile read.
  12. Don’t forget Josh’s heroics in the Rams game, that was some pure excitement right there, down to the wire with clutch throw after clutch throw esp. last 2 drives inc 4th down pressure—that game cemented 2020 as a going to be special year imo…
  13. Thanks OP; I couldn’t be happier that both of these men have lined up under center for the Buffalo Bills and that Josh is well on his way to being the best of the best. Also good guys off the field, which ultimately matters more too! FWIW, my fav Kelly game below:
  14. Manning’s coattails still carry a lot of clout I see.
  15. Have always had the best luck getting my Bills gear on Ebay; a pro tip—if you see something you like on there, don’t buy it right away, instead favorite it/put it on your watching list, and often you will get unsolicited offers from sellers reducing their prices to get you to “buy now.” Sometimes the discounts are pretty significant.
  16. Git r…whoops I thought I was still in the Ertz thread
  17. ^^^^same, well said MGK.
  18. @PromoTheRobot still MIA from this thread? 🧐😉
  19. I will reference back to your spot-on post, the minute another gripe is raised about Tebow as TE “stealing away an opportunity/roster spot” from some more deserving third party—KB must’ve seemed like an April Fools joke for those sad sack Giants fans, smh…
  20. Sure hope this is legit, I would absolutely love love love seeing the complete 90’s set including the red helmets as our throwbacks…I know we’ve discussed unis ad nauseam, but seriously, Josh needs to throw some TD’s in that look, and all will be right with the world in that moment .
