  1. Definitely Fitzy in Part III of the VI spin cycle, thanks!
  2. Ok, fair enough...but, then why wouldn’t that have been reported straight back to league offices, who presumably, if so, then did nothing about it? Other possibilities include the ‘skins were so bad, a few calls questionably going their way ended up not mattering? All conjecture at this point.
  3. And validate everyone on here who’s griped along the way that refs aren’t always above reproach, let’s just say.
  4. IF even some of what’s been posted as likely substance is factual (thanks @DrDawkinstein for the leads), then how this doesn’t end up with Dan Snyder being forced out of ownership is beyond my pay grade to analyze. Consider that it’s common knowledge Snyder is one of the less likeable owners in the league to begin with (so prolly not many will rush to defend his management of the team) and as head of the ship would be a scalp (no pun intended) the NFL would probably not mind getting as a way to provide cover for the shield, if there’s even a hint that the league offices were made aware of any allegations along the way and failed to follow up independently? Lots of questions. Some of what’s alleged would make even Richardson blush, and he was forced out as well. https://www.sbnation.com/2017/12/17/16788572/panthers-owner-jerry-richardson-selling-team
  5. Not sure if this has already been posted elsewhere, but now Colin as a notable talking head may feel similarly to OP? https://thespun.com/nfl/nfc-east/dallas-cowboys/colin-cowherd-dak-prescott-super-bowl-qb-nfl
  6. Did Russ Brandon apply to work there yet? ? (Too soon?) ?
  7. Shaq unfortunately has a history of never quite making it to the summit of his potential... (14:26 mark) https://www.buffalobills.com/video/buffalo-bills-embedded-episode-1-agents-of-change
  8. So glad that our super bowl squads were led by Marv Albert, I can still remember him yelling out YESSS!!!!! When Scott Christie beat the Giants in the Super Bowl—what a great guy, simply tremendous!
  9. Beane is quickly climbing that ladder as well on our behalf—Josh Norman being the latest example, hopefully that works out.
  10. If I could also get that with a side of snow in July, I'm all in. ?
  11. And if that's a little too old school by itself, try this catchy incorporation:
  12. It still needs a made-up Norse sounding name that's used as an adjective in the too small to read instruction manual!
  13. Fried over easy; or hard boiled, or soft boiled or scrambled. Depending on mood, will add hot sauce or ketchup sometimes to the scrambled version, on all others basically salt/pepper only. I enjoy adding the fried version to a breakfast sandwich/biscuit with cheese...I think that about covers it Oh wait--one more--a local burger joint down here does a burger called the coronary bypass, using a fried egg on its burger with bacon, tator tots, cheese, etc...that's also hard to beat. In short, one of the best/most versatile foods known, FWIW!
  14. An alternative (if used in time) that won't risk damage to the tree itself, is some double-sided tape that they can't climb over, and will prevent them nesting in the branches that they need in order to form their hideous nests. You can buy it pretty much anywhere, and example is the pic below, but in a pinch you can fold over some duct tape and make it work as well. Key is checking on the adhesive every so often to make sure it's still doing the trick. We used this method when I was kid at the start of the season, and I remember it being quite effective. Of course, Slim Shady also has offered very effective methods once you're in the nesting phase in the branches already
  15. I'd love to be able to find some of that down here!
  16. I would think that the 49ers, named for gold rush era pre-civil war pillaging of the pristine California environment for the sake of only a garish precious metals commodity, might be on the chopping block before us?
  17. Much appreciated @WhoTom! Will definitely check this out. Have a lot of good memories of my grandfather playing the ‘harp’ during my childhood and figure this is a great way to connect back to that—do you play also?
  18. Sorry, one more call
  19. ^^^^this guy gets it.
  20. Always enjoyed Mike Lange’s calls for Pens hockey growing up—“lord Stanley lord Stanley! Get me the brandy!” —“scratch my back with a hacksaw”—“Elvis has just left the building”
  21. Recently came across my grandfather’s 1933 world’s fair edition Hohner harmonica, and have been attempting to learn to play by way of YouTube instructional videos—no enduring success to report as of yet however
  22. I forgot my wallet
