  1. I remember the 8-0 snow game where Moorman had a snap go flying over his head and he kicked it out the back of the end zone for a safety. First 8-0 game in the NFL since something like 1927. I remember the 6-3 game where Derek Anderson won the game for the Browns by completing 2 passes all afternoon for all of 23 yards. Bleacher Report called that the "worst game ever" https://bleacherreport.com/articles/270428-worst-game-ever-buffalo-vs-cleveland-review Weird stuff happens against the Browns. I'm already losing sleep over it.
  2. There was no reason to text security. It was just obnoxious. In America, at least until the next election, people have a right to say what they want. And I have a right to complain about it.
  3. My visit to the Ralph for the Eagles game was a challenge. Never mind the 40 mph winds, the rain, the massive lines at the refreshment stands (for which I missed a Bills TD) or the fact that the Bills got crushed. The place was infested with Eagles fans. And I have to say that these were some of the most obnoxious fans I've ever seen. I expect them to celebrate when their team does well but they were constantly sticking it in our faces and doing their level best to remove any remaining enjoyment from the outing for Bills fans. The only reason these guys didn't get their faces pushed in is that Buffalo people are nice. The Philly fans lived up to - maybe exceeded - their woeful reputation.
  4. Female hockey fans are the best
  5. Who's going to both? I'm flying in from overseas for this, meeting my son who is coming in from the west coast. Couldn't have asked for a better time to see both Buffalo teams!
  6. Why DO the Jetsons live in the sky???
  7. They spent a lot of time talking about Josh heaving the ball into the stands after the 2 point conversion, and even had pregame video of him talking about hitting the press box. I haven't seen any video that shows where the ball landed. Anyone know?
  8. Easy way to shorten the games: on out of bounds or incomplete pass, start the game clock when the officials spot the ball on the line of scrimmage.
  9. Remember 2008 (said the old man). Let's hold onto our seat cushions just a little while longer. And get off of my lawn.
  10. What if Dolphins-Redskins today is tied 0-0 after regulation, do you want them to keep going until someone scores? They may still be playing on Tuesday. And the fans will have left at halftime.
  11. Chill, brother. The whole point of these boards is to have a little fun. And by the way, consider that the Music City Miracle was THEIR vengeance against us for the Reich comeback.
  12. Revenge? After losing the 3rd Super Bowl, the next season we played the NFC East and beat New York, Washington and Dallas, avenging our 3 Super Bowl losses. Then we went out and lost the 4th one.
  13. If he's right we should go 13-3 since the only teams ranked above us on our schedule are NE and Philly
  14. You're 64? I thought you said you're old. I've been 64 for 51 weeks now.
  15. Why ruin a trip to beautiful Krakow by watching the putrid Fish?
  16. Then I guess Rob Johnson 11 is completely out of the question.
  17. If I bought a new jersey it would be Everett 85
  18. Way after, when Four Falls of Buffalo came out Norwood suffered more as a Bill than any of us have suffered as long-suffering Bills fans.
  19. I still unapologetically rock my Norwood 11 jersey
  20. That's what my rabbi told me once.
  21. Thanks for the insight.
  22. Maybe the OP meant he has the "hips" and not the "yips"
  23. If Barkley is starting, they need to call up Webb which means cutting someone from the 53. Hard to imagine they'll do that AND make another roster move.
  24. If you think that the point of the comment is that we should have kept Tyrod then you missed the point.
  25. No going off the rails. The point is that a game manager who plays it very careful with the ball was all it took to win that game. Josh wants to improvise every play and be a superhero but he still hasn't gotten used to the idea that he's not head and shoulders better than everyone else on the field like he was in college. I'll go "off the rails" even further: Barkley might have won that game for us if he had played the whole way.
