I think MCDermott greatly overestimates what he can do as a coach. He's running the offensive side of things like he is McGyver, trying to win with ducttape/bubblegum and hat pins. Looking back one thing that baffles me is how to Daboll/McDermott put the game on Nate's arm against the Texans. In the Titans game at the end they put it on the O line by running the ball.
