  1. We need better players on offense. Daboll can only do what he can with a limited playbook, a sketchy oline and no wrs getting separation. Hell I could be an offensive consultant. Get better on the line, get a deep threat, and get a true #1 WR.
  2. Maybe, but I don't think so. I think McDermott and Beane have Pegula convinced that the process is going to take a while. I do believe that 2020 is make or break. They had 3 years to build a culture, draft a QB, and remake the roster. In 2019 there will be a ton of new faces starting, I don't expect everything to jell overnight. It never does for the Bills. And Allen was not a year and a half project. He's not going to be much better in 2019 than he is right now.
  3. I think he knew this was coming as part of the rebuild we were always going to struggle this year.
  4. Foles IMO is not going to come cheap and not going to sign on to be a seat warmer. Why should he? His stock will never be higher he should cash in while he can.
  5. I think that is the way to go, i forget his name but the agent that represented Peters during that whole debacle, the one who never returned any calls/faxes/emails i never liked that kind of negotiation. I don't think he's alive anymore and I don't want to talk crap about him just that technique was IMO not a good way to do business.
  6. It's a position that normally has high turnover, RBs don't last so you need fresh legs, but McBeane is attacking it the opposite way, if you're under 28 he doesnt' want you on the roster. He's going to have to get younger at RB, but I don't see the need to invest high draft capital. Sign a free agent like Ivory again next year, draft one in the 3rd or 4th round. Go from there. Zeke and Barkley aren't carrying their teams to victory. Neither is Fournette in Jacksonville.
  7. If they do, they do, I'm just saying I don't want one in the first 2 rounds. In a passing league, where we need pass protectors, and pass catchers, investing too much in the running game is a bad idea.
  8. Kareen Hunt in KC seems to be working out well for a 3rd round pick. I'm not sure what round Howard was drafted in Chicago but same thing. Kamara in New Orleans wasn't a 1st rounder either.
  9. Just hurts his development for next year. Anyone thinking he's going to come out and put up a 11-5 season in 2019 is in for a disappointment. At best 2019 will be a 7-9 year. in 2020 we will know if he's our QB or not.
  10. They haven't had a need to draft one high because they have had McCoy. Beane/McD prefer older veteran backups who can play special teams, but they have had McCoy so no need to look for a feature back. Hopefully they are not looking to draft one in the first 2 rounds. We have needs in other areas that will help the QB much more. I'd rather go with a good TE who can block and catch and OL/WR help.
  11. I want Bosa. He's a game changing DE. Pair him with Hughes, and Edmunds, and White and we have the makings of an elite defense. We can go offense with every other pick in the draft for all I care, we have 9 other picks. But that first pick, I want Bosa.
  12. It was brought up in another thread, if Shady goes, what are the odds the Bills draft a RB with that top 5 pick? IMO wayyyy to close for comfort. Keep Shady for another year just so we don't eff things up and take a RB early.
  13. I'd have done a couple different things, I'd have gone after John Sullivan in free agency instead of Bodine he'd be my starting center. I'd have jettisoned Vlad and probably gone with Teller, that or gone after Justin Pugh (who's been injured but was a solid free agent target guard). I'd have not signed Star so I had money to sign my two olinemen. But looking back, there was really not much we could have done with respect to the WRs, so really we would be in the exact same boat we are now. Except for Bridgewater, I'd have signed him instead of letting him go to the Jets. No McCarron.
  14. I think they can always make things worse, never underestimate the Bills when stupid personnel decisions are concerned.
  15. i think in a shocker, Hughes goes. Seems about Billsy to send our best pass rusher packing.
  16. I learned that Ram 1500's built around or after 2012 do not use gaskets to seal their rear differential covers. It's just some orange goop that ends up leaking after you paid 2 grand to have the axle swapped out. And it's gonna cost another couple hundred to fix.
  17. I don't think it matters who they start, I mean we're losing consistently, what is Peterman going to change? I figure we'll pick 3rd or 4th but the Giants and Raiders have 1 and 2 on lockdown.
  18. I think he's getting there, going to be our next Robert Woods. I wonder if he'll go to the Patriots or the Chiefs or the Rams
  19. Probably still have 2 touchdowns and 75yds on us. Belichick wouldn't do that unless he was confident he could win regardless. I'm just hoping we get a few good sacks on brady. I want to see Edmunds blitz him and get him and I want to see Harrison Phillips get to him.
  20. Don't be shocked when we lose our DC this offseason. Defense has been very good, he's worked his way up the right way and he's ready to be a head coach. Our defense has really impressed me this year. They never seem surprised by anything, that's solid preparation and good coaching. The tackling has been much better IMO this year than in the past.
  21. If you spent money on them, jerseys, tickets, memorabilia, you have a vested interest in the team, and it's your team. so I think you can say we.
  22. my daughter is an FAU Alumni, and we go to FAU football games. I paid them money, when i talk about FAU football I say WE because some of my money went to that university. All these rednecks talkin about "them Gatas" up here near Gainesville probably don't have a high school diploma much less a degree. But you see that stupid emblem all over the place.
  23. I would have thought it would be Haley. But I don't think it matters much, whoever took over was just going to do their thing and let the other DC do their thing the rest of the year.
  24. They know they will have to score 40+ to beat the Chiefs in the AFC title game.
