Regarding Douglas … perhaps his agent is asking too much money for the extension, and Beane coming across a little lukewarn yesterday could be a bit of a signal to the agent to pull his head in… Based on the way he played last year, and with question marks over Tre and Elam, I expect him to be back … if he signs an extension, I doubt he has any guaranteed money past the end of 2025 … I think it’s likely he has two more years left in him based on what we saw in 23 and then they cut bait …

I was watching this guy (Helmkamp) yesterday on Cover 1 talking about the WR class.. he wasn’t a big fan of BTJ ( one trick pony) … but loved Franklin and Worthy at 28 .. Was talking about Corley in the second if they go DL in the first … raved about the guy but seemed to be more referencing his toughness and blocking and how he was a “Buffalo guy the fans would love “ but didn’t discuss his WR skills all that much…

Nothing would surprise me about Gase.. Hardman was permitted to hang around the joint another two weeks ..even though he was self admittedly “checked out “… They ended up trading him for a bag of footballs … should have cut him on the spot instead

Not heard the MRI story ….and who it involves… But Saleh should have got rid of Hardman immediately if he doesnt want to help the team out by filling in for an injured teammate… i think Saleh is a terrible head coach …and seems to have very little respect from the players …

Just don’t ask him to play special teams if he don’t like the coach …

Hasn’t this doco been around for like 10 years? Have they put out a new version recently given there have been a couple threads about.? I lived it too in real time … Still can’t believe they lost that first game … they were outclassed the other three times..so they don’t hurt me as badly .. I remember the Redskins game … I was backpacking around Europe and found myself in Seville Spain on the day( night) … I spent money I didn’t have to check into a fancy hotel that had satellite TV to watch the game ( it wasn’t on Spain free to air TV at the time) What a waste… think I was asleep by halftime ..

I would rather have $38m though than $25m .. Like I said, it’s not gunna get them Higgins, but it might make the difference for them getting someone else , for example a next level down WR they otherwise would have missed out on …

It is what it is.. $13m that Beane now doesn’t have to find through moves or having to go without someone that can fill a hole… I mean, I’m not under any illusions they are signing Tee Higgins or anything ..but I’m sure it will assist this year where they are likely to be as hard up against it dollar wise as they ever have been before …

Cap has gone up $31m this year and probably will to go up more next year … Von and potential Diggs issues just got a little easier to deal with after this season…

You hate them more than NE because they are the ones doing it now… They got at least a decade to go to get to NE levels of hate for me..

Looks like I didn’t comment in this thread at the time of the extension…. I like Knox, and probably would have been in favour like most were … It’s not looking great now though … and they are handcuffed to him another year at least ,,,. I hope Brady can utilise him more in 2024 than what we saw this year … but I don’t want this to come at the expense of Kincaid taking the next step … Trying to be optimistic…. He is a number 1 TE on some teams still , so they should be able to move him on for a pick next year ..

These sort of markets are more gimmick than anything ..with only low maximum wager limits permitted.. here is the full market… still overwhelming odds on he stays in Buffalo Also noting the Chiefs are the same odds as the Texans …. Not sure our mate Warrior will be as excited about Diggs ending up there..
