Have to assume Tua will play. Miami will show up and try to make a game of it. Key to game is Allen and Bills just being patient and taking whats available and making a few big plays. Dolphins offense won't be able to keep up. Bills should also be working on their Cinci game plan, at least defensively. I don't expect Miami or Balt. to make much noise in playoffs. The Chargers/Jax game should be a good game. Which team matches up best against KC? In NFC, Giants/Vikings game should be good. SF will drill Seattle. Hard to say what the Dallas/TB game will be but I would bet Dallas winning that one going away.

Yes I agree. I emphasizing that this game, and the playoff games are all still important and worth talking about. Now as far as the Patriots go, they don't have a high scoring offense so I see the Bills running a more conservative offense against them, which includes more running the ball than usual. And obviously the Pats will try to exploit bills cornerbacks if they can.

The games are not as important as Hamlin's health but I agree, these games are still important. Not only for the fans but even more for the players. These players have their lives and careers invested in this as well and a tragedy does not mean its not important anymore. For most fans football is just a game, entertainment. For these players, coaches, people who work at the stadium, etc. it's their livelihood.

I think just getting thru their game on Sunday is going to be tough. Their going to have very little preparation and their not going to be focused on the Patriots. And as mentioned they might rest some guys and stuff too. Their probably just going to go thru the motions this week and then have to somehow regroup for the playoffs.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to insinuate he would be back. Just that he would recover such as be able to walk out of that hospital.

The game can't be replayed without disrupting the entire rest of the league. So there is no game. Teams will simply have to go with the records they have. So if KC wins on Sunday, they get the #1 seed. If KC loses and Bills win, Bills get to keep #1 seed. If KC and Bills lose and Cinci wins, Cinci gets #1 seed. And if all 3 of these teams lose on Sunday, then Bills also keep #1 seed. There simply is no other way.

I don't think most people are going to agree on what the NFL should do. I personally don't think they will make up the game and I don't think either the Bills or Bengals are going to care too much about that. Their already in the playoffs. NFL should probably just do away with any teams getting a bye.

So I think they will most likely just not count the game as played. The NFL should have a protocol for this since we just went thru Covid last couple years. That gives KC the #1 seed and everything else falls in place after that. The only other thing they could possibly do is decide the game with a coin toss, simply because there would be no other way. If this were early in the year the teams could make it up but just not feasible to do so now. Really the best scenario would be if Bills win on Sunday and KC loses. Regardless I don't think the Bills org. is going to make a fuss over what happens at this point.

If you look at the Chiefs this year, their only good wins were against the Chargers (two 3 point wins), and the 49ers. Otherwise they've had a pretty easy schedule and losing to the top 2 t eams they played.

Broncos have a lot more problems than just Russell Wilson. Their running game is abysmal this year, ranked in bottom 9. They have 1 good healthy receiver most the year. Their TE's can't catch a ball and their offensive line is terrible. Their defense was pretty good much of the year but they've ran out of steam now and they look pretty average out there. And of course horrible coaching situation. They need to overhaul their O-line next year and build from there. And if Russell Wilson stinks next year, they can always go get Baker Mayfield. 😆

Best bet is Allen tries to throw a bomb on the first possession so their 2 safeties sit back, and then Bills work on running the ball and the short passing game and stay out of the 3rd and longs.

I meant could have. Just like the Patriots fumble, they had a good chance to score on Bengals. Coulda woulda shoulda, summary of Bears season. Was looking next week weather in Cinci won't be that cold (50'a) but forecast shows some rain and wind likely.

I think this game was closer than the score, despite Chicago's poor offensive performance. Bears just missed on a 1st down at the 13 yard line that would have made this a 28-20 game. Chicago has terrible receivers, dropping easy passes that hurt the Bears too. I don't think there was a chance the Bears could win but this would have been a blowout if not for those turnovers. Oh, and don't forget the Bills would have had a 1st down at the 19 before that penalty backed them up and 2 plays later Josh threw the int. The other thing about McKenzie, he wasn't getting much separation out there either. Would like to see Allen target Shakir and Beasley more than McKenzie.

Allen just has to be more patient and take whatever easy stuff the defense gives them and continue running the ball. Only big penalties and turnovers can keep this game close.

That was as much of a bad decision as a bad throw by Allen there. Just can't do that.

Bills need to try and come out strong early as it will feel colder as the game goes on. They should throw it more in the 1st qtr.

I have DirecTV and I really like it overall. Offers me much more than what cable in my area does. I purchased NFL Ticket last 2 years but I got it free this year. I also have the NHL package which was pretty cheap. But I will likely get rid of it by next fall now. I know I won't subscribe to 2-3 different things just to watch football. I would probably get the Youtube NFL pkg if its not too expensive but still not going to do Prime and others too.

I don't see how they could give it to Mahomes over Allen or Hurts. KC lost their 2 biggest games against Bills and Bengals. Allen is hampered by his turnovers and these bad weather games. Hurts is going to lose ground on injury. So if Bills win out including beating the Bengals, then HAVE to give it to Allen.

I hope the Bills don't play down to the Bears level. I wouldn't expect a blowout in the bad weather but Bills should win this one by 10.

Looks like I'll be missing quite a few more games in the future. Have missed all the Amazon Prime Thursday night games this year.

Thats too bad. I think its getting to the point where every player should probably wear some sort of slip on semi knee brace or something to help reinforce the knees.

Seems like everytime I watch Tua and Mahomes too, their receivers often get big yards after catch. Bills just need to be able to clamp down on them and make the tackles right away.
