  1. Maybe they got autism from silicone in her breast milk.
  2. He only got some 5 times in 4 months. You sure they're not married?
  3. The printer connects wirelessly to your router. Your computer should be able to find it on your home network. I highly recommend Brother printers. The ink cartridges for mine are about $2 each on ebay. I haven't had a problem with a generic cartridge since I bought the printer 2 years ago. We probably print a couple of hundred pages a month on it, and I have never had any issues. Not sure if they still make my model but it is MFC-465CN.
  4. The Wire has to be on top of the list. Just be aware that they take a few episodes to develop characters and story lines. They use the full season to wrap up a case which is different than most crime dramas. I also got hooked on Californication and Dexter through the Instant streaming on Netflix. Both are excellent shows. I tried Weeds but never made it through the 1st episode. FX has put out a lot of great shows too. The Shield is one of my all-time favorites. Sons of Anarchy is also a top pick. Also like the new show Terriers.
  5. I like the way they gave her the birthday cake to get her to smile for her mugshot.
  6. I've sold gift cards to Plastic Jungle. For a $350 card to the Apple Store, they pay $308. cash or $323 as an Amazon gift cert. They even paid the postage. You get your check in about a week.
  7. You can always split your screen and look at smut in one browser window and TBD on the other.
  8. So Sherrod was just collateral damage in the great fight against the evil NAACP? How noble of him. What Breitbart did to that woman was despicable. His only spin now is that he didn't know that he was only given the edited content, which we all know is BS. Have you watched the unedited video? Maybe if you did, you might realize what a POS this guy is.
  9. The only way she could be doing that is by not reporting all of her sales. For example, maybe she has an extra cash register that she runs sales through and doesn't report them with her sales. In which case she is not only under reporting her sales, she is also under reporting her sales taxes. I'm sure that lots of small businesses try to get around reporting all of their sales but unless she can prove it to you, I would pass. One further way to examine things would be to check her invoices. If she bought $50k of crap and is retailing it at $100k, that would be similar to the gross profit that she is showing you. However, if the crap costs 25k and it retails for $100k, her gross profit would be much greater than the 50% or so that shows on her p&l. This would also be important in valuing how much to pay for her inventory. You need to know how much it costs.
  10. Every once in a while one of them seemed to get a little energy. Isner had a couple of match points when it was about 34-33 or so. At times I thought that Mahut looked like he had more energy but then Isner would blast a few aces. Just an incredible match.
  11. A lot of credit cards added new charges but I don't think that they can put new terms into effect without notifying you. One of the big things was supposed to be full transparency of charges. I would ask them for a printed list of new fees. You should definitely find a new card pronto and transfer your balance asap. You need to get yourself out of credit card debt ASAP. If you have home equity, get a heloc and pay off the cards. Refinance your car if you can to get cash out. Or hit up your family for some low interest loans. I have about 10 credit cards. I use 2 of them all of the time and pay off my balance each month. The only change that I have seen from any of my cards is an increase in the grace period from 20 to 25 days on a couple of them. I have not had any card tell me they were adding an annual fee nor has any of them made any change in their rewards program. Some of them may have increased their rate, but since I have never paid a dime in interest on any card, I never pay any attention to rate increases.
  12. I've been using Foxit for quite a while now. Just like Acrobat Reader without the BLOAT. link: Foxit website
  13. This is one of the first things I ever followed on twitter. It's funny as **** but I have no clue how you make it into a show on network tv. Doesn't make much sense to me.
  14. Maybe this is the cults suicide pact. Dr Kevorkian couldn't have dreamed up a better assisted suicide plan than this. Would be great if the police forgot to show up.

  16. Why would you not do it? It's not like they are asking you to do a porno. You have a chance to make a little money and will have a great story to tell your buds.
  17. The problem with any of these "Best of Buffalo" lists is that the ballot box gets stuffed by the bands themselves. A band finds out about it and then tells everyone they know to fill out a ballot for them. A couple of years ago, some school marching band won best local band in the Buffalo News "Next" poll. That's the only possible explanation for some of the bands on that list. I also agree that NO cover band should be even eligible for best rock act. They should have a separate category for cover bands if they want to include them.
  18. Usually I just eat them cold. However, the other day we had some leftover BBQ wings. They were pretty saucy so I lit the grill and heated and charred them up a little. They ended up tasting pretty close to fresh.
  19. I don't see how you would owe anything additional if you lose. I don't think that they charge you to arbitrate your problem. The worst that happens is you lose and have to take it back and ebay will refund the guy's money. All of the previous comments that I've made were regarding Paypal buyer protection. Sounds like the buyer is using ebay buyer protection instead. That might be beneficial to you. Paypal always rules for the buyer, but it is possible that you could get a favorable ruling from ebay. The main thing is to document that the guy has no idea how to use your item. If he doesn't know how to use the software, how can he say that the scanner doesn't work? Sounds more like buyers remorse than a defect in your item. Good Luck!
  20. That should be all that you are out. The insertion fees usually are pretty cheap. You might get to re-list the item on ebay for no insertion fee if you put it back up within a certain time period. At least the buyer has to pay to ship it back to you. The one good thing to take away from the experience is you now know that you can send back stuff that you buy no matter what the seller states in his auction. From a buying standpoint, it's a pretty good deal that you get 45 days to return something that doesn't work perfectly.
  21. I've moved long distance a number of times. Unless you are really attached to your stuff, you will probably be better off selling everything and taking the cash and buy new stuff when you get there. It doesn't sound like you have that much stuff. Your clothes and personal stuff can fit in your car(s). You then have $3500 + whatever you sell your stuff for to replace it all and still break even.
  22. I'm not an investment advisor but I can see 2 uses for this kind of fund. First for someone just starting out it allows them to diversify using one fund. They may not have enough money to meet the minimums of enough funds to properly diversify. Second, on a temporary basis when you are investing additional money. I have done this when my portfolio is reallocated once a year, but I decide to add additional money at a different time of the year. In this way, the new funds are similarly diversified without having to allocate the new money to a bunch of funds. Then when the annual reallocation comes around, it gets allocated according to my long-term plan.
  23. A friend of mine was doing something similar. He had about 20 rental houses in Florida. About 6 years ago, his net worth was about $1.5 million. He ended up taking out home equity loans to buy some additional prepeties. Today, he is down to about 8 properties, most of which he is trying to sell through short sales. His net worth is now negative. In addition to the rental properties, he also operates a home repair business. Since the majority of his work has been done on his own houses, he has reported very little income from his business. As a result, he has paid very little social security taxes over the years. He's now in his late 40's, he has pretty much lost all of the rental property that he was going to use to retire on, and his projected soc sec benefits are squat. Basically a reminder that we all need to diversify. Put as much money in IRA's and 401k's as you can afford. Try to save 10% of your income toward your retirement and start EARLY. Make sure that you diversify your investments. Take advantage of Roth ira's. There are a lot of benefits to Roths in addition to the tax free withdrawals.
