Oliver / Risner is my perfect start to this draft. Add a playmaker WR, TE or RB in 3rd also.

The 1989 Divisional playoff game between the Browns and Bills was my 1st memory of actually watching a football game. Bills uniforms were so much better and the Bills played their ass off that day. Been a Bills fan ever since.

I don't believe for a second that the Buffalo Bills were working with an assistant GM of the Carolina Panthers in the 2017 draft. They interviewed other people before hiring Beane. My opinion on that draft is that Whaley and McDermott equally ran that draft. Yes it was a bad mistake letting a lame duck GM help run a draft but they had no choice. You don't fire your GM before a Draft.

Dwayne Haskins is actually a really good passer. Not a good runner but the man is great in the pocket. If a team can protect him he will pick the opponent apart.

I agree! Most likely though there will be a run like no other on D line players. This draft is absolutely loaded at the top with D Line talent. Bosa, Q. Williams, Allen, Sweat, Oliver, Gary, Ferrell and Burns. That's 8 DL that all would be top 5 any other draft. Not to mention LB Devin White and CB Greedy Williams who also are top 5 talents most years. If the Bills go D at #9 we will get a great player. If Murray doesn't go #1 somebody is going to come get him at 2 or 3.

At best Murray and Haskins will be drafted before #9. It's not as good of a class as last year was. The Giants, Dolphins, Bengals, Redskins and then if Arizona or Oakland want to shake things up they will jump in. I could see A situation where 3 go but Arizona, Oakland and the Giants reaching for one at #6. Not likely.

I didn't realize he was a free agent. Thought it was a trade at first.

They can do whatever they want with the pick and I am going to be happy. They litterly can't go wrong unless they reach for someone that should have been a mid too low first rounder at 9. Which they will not do. Beane is going to nail this draft.

I live in Vermont which is a mix of Patriots and Giants fans with a sprinkle of Jets fans. I love wearing my bills apparel and have a decal on my truck. I would never and will never be ashamed to show my pride.

Totally! It would have cost a lot to move up and in the end the Bills gut the guy they say they wanted and held on to most of their draft capital. I was saying it didn't cost the Jets much to do it. Moving from 6 to 3 I believe it was three 2nds.

I think we can all sit here today and say we were pissed also. That was the trade the Bills were supposed to make and it really didn't cost much to do it. It worked out for both teams in the end so now it's a moot point. Both teams and fan bases are happy with the picks.

Nobody should ever be told to go kill themselves! Now that that's out of the way, Mike Rodak would get a lot more support from Bills fans if he actually would write something positive about the team. He is a glass half empty guy when it comes to the Bills for sure. I don't know how many of you also listen to the " Bills Beat Podcast" with Joe Buscaglia and Matthew Fairburn ( if you don't you should be the guys are great) but they hammer on Rodak almost every episode and they work with the guy. Tim Graham is a guest on there sometimes and I am almost certain that he leads the charge against Rodak at times. I come from a family that unfortunately deals with mental illness so telling someone to go kill themselves is just repulsive to me. I 100% agree with Tim about that. However if he wants everyone to respect the way Rodak writes I think he needs to actually read Rodaks stories or tweets and hear where we are coming from.

It just goes to show you how valuable O linemen with starting experience are. Seems like it takes a couple years for them to come in to the league and start unless they are studs.

Didn't know that the Giants reached out to Beane. That alone made it a good article.

After next season we will have no pass rushers under contract. We need a pass Rusher or two for the future. We also just lost a pro bowl DT. I would say if we don't do something now at those positions it's going to be a scramble next off-season to get some. Beane likes to be ahead of the curve so I would expect a DT and probably and edge rusher somewhere in the draft. This poll started last fall ?. Back then our O line was God awful and Williams was a top 5 prospect. Things change.

I don't think we need to trade down as much as we did before free agency. I would rather trade our extra 4th and extra 5th for a 3rd. We brought in 9 players so far and have 10 picks. Not many spots on the roster anymore.

No because Houston used him all over the line instead of just putting him in the 3 tech where his numbers are crazy. If the Bills draft him it's so he will become the 3 tech they need. Unfortunately unless the Jets trade down they are going to get a STUD on their D Line. Bosa, Williams or Allen. Boo.

So........the OP is worried about adding a slot receiver when Josh Allen has issues with his short to intermediate passes ?. Other than that he is happy with the direction the Bills are headed and thankful Beane has had the patience that has been required to build it. That's better ?.

My thoughts exactly. He is good for 4/5 wins just by himself.

Rex had A LOT of talent here during his time. That defense should have been amazing but the lack of discipline let it all fall a part.

Both of them needed to be smarter at this point.
