Beside McBeane blundering big time starting the season with no experience at QB, bringing in a player to tutor them is an indictment of the QB coach.

That be awesome. But it be more salt in a wound for Bills fans than Brady ever rubbed in. The thought of Sean McDermott, "The Bills coach who passed on Mahomes" will sting near as much as "wide right' should Mahomes win a SB. Especially if McDermott is still clapping away on the Bills sideline as Mahomes wins it all.

No one can play forever and few have like he has at his age. Still goes out as the best ever. Nobody's winning 5 SB''s anytime soon. Been a pleasure watching his career, except for two games a year.

He has a high tolerance to watching it.

McDermott isn't going anywhere.... ....well, for starters no one else would want him as their HC.

YES !.....and if I may add, why so many are leery of McDermott's HC capability.

As long as McClappy is HC it's:

I actually feel bad for Peterman. The one who led him astray and looks the fool here is McDermott, who truly, and ineptly, thought he could will it to work with Peterman leading the way. McDermott has nil HC credibility.

....yeah, one being the players confidence soars knowing there's someone under center who can play.

Looks obvious now. They didn't have an NFL ready QB until yesterday.

Again, common sense. The players want to win now. Barkley, while far from stellar, played better than anyone in a Bills uniform playing QB this year. They saw that today. They could care less about the Josh Allen experiment or about his future. That's not being selfish on their part. Barkley gummed up the works a bit by playing better than anyone would have guessed, except McClappy, of course.

If so, then he makes the other three look like practice squad players.

Common sense. The players care more about winning football games than developing Josh Allen, who has mostly stunk this year.

If it were up to the players, Barkley be starting next game.

By far, the best performance by a Bills QB this season. Barkley is showing how bad the other 3 have played.

The fact remains the line needs an overhaul for next year, like it did this year.

It was insanely crazy that McBeane did not address replacing the 3 solid starters gone from last years offensive line, they had plenty of time. Woods and Incognito were gone by the end of January and Glenn was traded in early March.

How about the odds of Barkley being pulled for Peterman ? It'd be McClappy's "see I told you so" moment of the season. Yeah, for me !

It would definitely be harder to prove you are wrong. How few games Peterman started and how many times he was benched during or after them is insane. McClappy's insistence that Peterman could succeed only resulted with both having so much egg on their faces that they're both a bit of a "yolk" league wide.

Exactly. The winds in Orchard Park are child's play for him. He has the 4th most wins at Rich/Ralph/New Era all time. Only Kelly, Ferguson and Brady's creator, Drew Bledsoe, won more there. Needing top end arm strength to play at New Era is a myth.
