You know if you watch his snaps in preseason he looks terrific. I don’t think he’s an immediate starter but he has a chance to develop into something.

Penalties before the snap should never happen that is on the player not paying attention to detail. How the Bills or any team can have presnap penalties on the oline is beyond me. They know Josh uses a hard count to pickup cheap yards on the dline trying to anticipate the count. Almost like they don’t even practice.

I’ll tell ya though watching this game with mute on Terry Mclaurin is arguably the most underrated receiver in football. My goodness next year Caleb Williams or Drake Maye already has a number 1 receiver in place.

Good assessments I’ll have to rewatch but I just remember the awful holding call Spencer had when only Josh Allen can hit a 35 yard laser on 3rd and 24 and it got called back. The guard play was surprisingly good especially against the Steelers front 7 but Dawkins was terrible. Look it was a bad game but it’s preseason how much of that was just not trying, just being vanilla, etc…who honestly knows. Matt Milano who is as good in coverage as any LB in football was totally lost on the TD pass in the regular season I doubt that happens. The concerning things to me are OT and MLB. Every single pass play Brown or Dawkins had someone in Josh’s face. The Guard play was pretty good. The long TD run Dodson was the contain and he frankly hit the wrong hole badly. I will say though Elam is looking more and more like Beane missed badly on even though It looks like he hit on Bedford.

Dorian Williams looks like a player but he’s a rookie and man rewatching the long TD run Dodson was totally out of position and once Poyer took the wrong angle I don’t want to think about it.

It is hard to evaluate this game cause of the crapfest the first team D and special teams where. But Allen and Kincaid is going to be amazing. Josh now has some legit options outside Diggs in the passing game he looks like a top ten TE in the game now.

His first pass was an 8 yard pass in the middle to Kincaid I watched the play again I’m sorry if that’s pass protection to you I don’t know what to tell you.

Looking at it objectively every time Josh went back to pass he had a guy in his face. It felt like the Bengals game. Dalton Kincaid is going to be amazing Backup QB is a major problem. MLB and CB2 are going to be serious issues if someone doesn’t emerge soon. The referees were practically piggybacking the Steelers down the field in this game. This was a my goodness they can’t be this bad game.
