Should be fournette and Murray tonight
-
Remember when we would run Allen early to let him get settled down? Maybe try that again?
-
There is the record setting te record play
-
Wow
-
You’re getting the ball back quick vs Denver so I kick it. No brainer to me.
-
Rather Ty Johnson over fournette
-
At home vs Denver you defer. Sorry. It’s likely a quick three and out and you can double dip at halftime. Gtfoh
-
That is why you defer. Stupid.

[QUESTION] Your Opinion On This Team Will Change Tonight If:

They lose its time to move on to next year. A win we move on to another week of lose and its season over. They have one maybe two losses left and best to save those for KC, PHI, or DAL. -
You mean like jetsweeps to our high priced 5 foot tall receiver that is supposed to be an extreme threat...then fake the jetsweep and throw the ball...or fake the jetsweep and go misdirection? I saw multiple teams do that on sunday. No we will throw 2 yard outs to Kincaid so we all can get excited that he is going to break the TE reception record with 150 catches for 783 yards.

Get him asap

Bills could be tied for 1st in the AFC at 7-4

First - if Kc loses two straight they are still ahead us with tiebreaker All of the below also needs to happen… MIA loses to raiders or jets CIN beats BAL but loses to Pit BAL loses to CIN and LAC PIT beats CIN but loses to CLE CLE beats PIT but loses to DEN JAX loses to TEN and HOU HOU beats JAX but loses to AZ Anything can happen right. -

Would be nice to have balls like lac or det. I would take either off playbook too. -

Devito has no business being on a roster. How is there not another qb anywhere out of a job that is not better. Crazy. -

Here is the reality check - if we can’t survive the schedule to even make the playoffs then it doesn’t matter. We wouldn’t do jack in the playoffs. Players vs pretenders. -

Today has been good for 1 seed. Not so good for wild card. We are winning the division or bust. -
Cole Kmet being used like Kincaid
-
Laporta has 100 more yards too. And 3 more td’s and 6 more 1st downs. Kincaid is being used like a 1st down run. You hope to get 4-5 yards. 23 of his 40 are in 1st down. His avg depth is like 3 yards. This is not a criticism of Kincaid but a reality check of the stats. I think Kincaid can do a ton more than he is being asked. I am not overly excited about the approach unless we start surprising people as well. Fake the out and go up field. The 3-4 yd passes are not the recipe for success.

Bevell in MIA Hostler in DET

Would love to see the catch chart showing the depth of most of these receptions. I am more than happy with Kincaid but would like to see him targeted downfield more. Many of his receptions are basically run plays.
-
Turnovers are nearly always a revert to the mean type of stat.
-
Davis is an awful route runner. He is not the fastest. He is not shifty. Most of his success comes when a guy gets beat or coverage breakdowns - post and no safety help, etc.
-
A lot of the talk all season has been about how efficient the offense has been. We see stats point out Josh high completion % and his QB rating. It is pointed out how many guys we have with the highest catch %. All of these efficiency metrics supposedly to show how great the offense is doing. Yet the team record, offensive production, "eye test", etc do not match this narrative. Until this week when the team has fallen to 5-4 many refused to admit the offense is an issue. I think the concept of efficiency is flawed and overhyped. You can create a efficient offense quite easily by dialing down your offense. You can create high completion %'s and high catch %'s by throwing short dump offs. Do these things translate to success? It does not appear so for the Bills. What you see is the higher number of plays to get down the field means more opportunities for setbacks. If your running 15-20 plays the odds of a sack, penalty, int or fumble all increase. This leads to more drives stalling out after moving the ball. How many times do you see the team drive to the opposing 30 and then we get a holding call that stalls the drive. A high powered offense can take the short stuff but hits the mid to deep plays as well. You cant rely on these long drives of 4 yard plays over and over again because when you get behind the sticks the D knows what your doing and that is what leads to the turnover or being stopped. The most successful big plays are usually on 1st and 10's or 2nd/3rd and shorts when the D is not expecting it. I dont know if this is a McD thing, a Dorsey thing or Bills analytics department thing. But who cares what the efficiency metrics say. This O has became way too predictable and needs to mix things up. If they cannot then a change needs to be made.
