My understanding is they said it was a backwards pass. Music city miracle style. -
Even worse - only 17 total points in the first 3 quarters. That is 17 points in 9 quarters. The other 42 have been in the 4th quarter when they are in hurry up and opposing D are giving them the short stuff trying to close out games.

Why is everyone focused on the Offense here?
ngbills replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall
This team is not set up for the D to play from behind. This D is short handed is going to get worn out if the O cant stay on the field. That is what has happened each of the past 3 weeks. The O has been a mess, dont let the scoring stat fool you as 42 of the 59 points have come in the 4th quarter when the O finally goes to hurry up panic mode and the opposing D is just trying to hang on for the win. -

Devils advocate...what is Josh is the problem?
ngbills replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I dont know. For every negative JA post there are at least 10x more Dorsey, McD, need weapons, need tjis or that. A new QB is what I see being discussed the least on this board. -
Remember when we used only 1TE on most plays. Maybe go back to that...

And the angle he took on Stevenson catch and run to get down there in the first place. -
Devils advocate...what is Josh is the problem?
ngbills replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Multiple things can exist - Josh can play a bad game, he can still be one of the best QB's in the league, he can be the Bills QB, the coaches can suck. 99% of people on here love JA. Some get super sensitive if you say anything wrong about him. He would be the first to admit he wants 90% of that game back. -
Here is how I would fix the offense (Listen up Dorsey)
ngbills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Clearly this experiment with the 12 personnel, grind it out with 15 play 8 minute drives is not working. This team operates best when it is going fast. Look at the games when they are successful and you have a lot of 2-3 minute TD drives. You have to mix it up is the bottom line. Run the same play, but out of different looks. Do what you need to and be less predictable. I am a fan of spreading the field. Dorsey seems to like to keep it tight for some reason. I can only guess he wants to over crowd one side for a numbers match up somewhere else. Its basically all or nothing when your constantly doing that which is why we have the all to common backyard play after that read is not open. Spread the field, quick slants and crosses. Mix it up under the gun and from under center. -
Any word yet on why only 6 snaps? Down from 20 and then 27 down to 6. Seems like a very odd ramp up... Just saw this. Both the limp after the rush, but even in his rush you can see he down not have the same body movement. Very upright and not bending at all. Also that was the last drive of the 2nd half and was at least 3 of his 6 snaps. So even without that injury his snaps were way down.

What do people want? We just brought in Ty Johnson and his kick returns almost helped us beat the 1-5 Pats.

This is not the process. He is not a team guy. They will pay for this later. Those lost draft picks will bite them later. Uhhhhh...what else can I say to excuse our teams unwillingness to do anything.

Josh’s stats so far - the Ken Dorsey Offense
ngbills replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
My guess on EPA stats. Its these long drives that boost EPA. Getting first downs and long drives help boost the EPA. But I would argue that is not the Bills. They are trying to be the grind it out 10 minute drive team and is efficient getting 8 first downs on a drive. Look at the past few years and games the offense was clicking. Those are more of the 3 minute drive variety not 5+. -

MIA and LAV he played lights out. The rest have been bad to blah. WASH game we only had 16 points going into the 4th. No need to bring up the NYJ, JAX, NYG, NE games other than point out the O was not good enough, especially early in the last 3 (10 points total in those 1st half. Actually only 17 in the first 3 qtrs of all three- that makes 42 of our last 59 points all in the 4th quarter. You can spin it as at least they dont quit or that Bills were in do or die mode vs teams holding leads. -

ngbills replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Take out the LAV and MIA game and it gets worse. 122-184 (66%) completions 1247 passing yards (249 per game) 8 TD 7 INT 22 rushes for 124 yards (25 per game) Is that who Josh Allen is? A 66% completion guy with 250 yds, 1TD/I Int and 25 rushing yards per game?
