Ugly. This is a team that went like 100 drives without scoring. Exaggerating but you know what I mean.

Is first read strictly throwing to the first read or how fast it is going to the first read? Part of Allen's low number could be he comes off his first read so fast and goes straight to the check down. He is doing that a ton this year. Also, the Bills dont seem to run a lot of quick first read plays.

There you have it. Two opposite opinions. When we had guys like Tyrod and Trent Edwards people wanted a risk taker. I think many on this board just want to support whatever is happening. Allen the game manager that is great bc he is learning and smarter. Josh the risk taker that is great bc that is who he is and will win more than he will lose playing that way.

He is playing smarter (not sure that is the best word) as he is taking much less risk this year. But...is that what we want? While his completion % is up and his efficiency looks better much of that is due to a much higher number of short passes and dump offs. His rushing numbers are down and so are his passing yards. So it begs the question do we want Allen to become more of a high efficiency / game manager QB? Is that what equals success and his best year ever?

On the west coast - paid for Sunday Ticket and this year only 1 of the 6 games needed the ticket (WASH game). All others could watch through normal tv.

Could be a good week for the Bills. Lots of AFC/NFC games, hopefully we see a flip from last week. At least give a Fins loss...Bills could be back in first at the end of Sunday. Get him for half the year and then trade him in the offseason. No idea what the cap implications would be of doing that. Unless you can lock him up long term at a reasonable cost and are letting Davis walk.

Its not comparing the Pats to the Bills. It was responding to the mindset of we used to suck so just be happy that we are winning at all.

Isn’t healthy and don’t get? That is what the coaches and players do. You look at what could we be doing better and what is not working. Some fans like to do that as well. But this boards tends to group people together way too much. If I’m critical then I’m in the fire everyone, we are going to lose, blow it up etc. I can’t be I think we are a really good team but want and expect better. I see things we are not doing well and like to discuss it. Isn’t that point of coming on a board like this? If your a just have fun and enjoy the ride fan then why waste the energy and time reading this stuff.
