  1. Daboll wants to outsmart everyone. Just let our players beat the opponent. Stop the cute trickery on every play. Like that.
  2. Can we just scrap the whole playbook? Every play just looks like chaos.
  3. Can’t they show some replays of the coverage?
  4. Nice ball there by Josh
  5. Maybe Singletary could have played a bigger role today?
  6. Gonna say it again. This offensive film is not going to look as good as many on here seem to think.
  7. That pass is an example - good outcome but better ball and you have a td.
  8. I think this one looks different on tape. There have been good outcomes but that does not mean the play is being made as designed. Way too much super hero Josh.
  9. This is my point. It is naive and short sighted to just say - what do you want we are up 21-3. The question is will this work in a big game against a good team? I don’t think so. Not to mention that Josh can not sustain this. This still looks like last years josh. Playing like a beast. But we have yet to see him be a passer. How many passing plays turned into check downs and Allen runs? Way too many. Not great looks in the passing game outside of a few games. They will watch the tape and see if Josh was making the right reads or not.
  10. Reminds me of Alabama playing Southeast Western Utah State. Domination by the Bills but I would not call it pretty. A few nice plays but to too much of the success has been broken plays. A lot of the try hard Josh Allen plays that make you worried about the long term sustainability.
  11. I know it’s a blowout but I would not call this a clean game. Too much reliance on the Josh scramble. Won’t have all these broken plays against a good team. Need to clean this up.
  12. We are clearly the better team. Can we stop the trickery and just beat the crap out of them.
  13. Three straight qb runs?
  14. Same old from Daboll. Not loving the play calling. Not to mention trying to kill your qb in game 1. And Josh needs to go down or slide. Needs to be smarter.
  15. Snap count. He was on the field most of the game. Running routes and blocking and yes only 4 carries. Josh threw the ball 40 times that game.
  16. Singletary and Oliver both started the first game of the season and played 70% of the snaps. Ford did start and split snaps and played about 60% in the first game. That is quite a bit different than being either 3rd string or not even dressing for the game. That is not a rookie wall type of thing.
  17. Thank you. Now I dont have to get in the debates with people when I am frustrated about our FB getting way too many snaps. The common "You just dont understand his role", "I think the coaches know more than you", "He is important in this offense" blah blah.
  18. Bills win the Super Bowl in a season impacted by COVID. We have players opting out, no fans, no preseason, and who knows what else is in store for the season. If the Bills win it all this year will it be a let down? Years of waiting and they win a odd year that will always have an * by it.
  19. Season over if the Jets get Foster or Williams...
  20. The initial post has the team slightly improving on offense ~2PPG and slightly regressing on defense ~2PPG. I think both are realistic but also would be a letdown. Allen in year 3 and you add DIggs and it adds up to less than 2 points per game off an already really low number of under 20PPG and need to be at least at 25PPG or better. Heck BALT put up over 30PPG. But part of me thinks scores will be down across the league due to the lack of preseason and reduced time to prep for the season.
  21. This is goofy logic. First the team has plenty of cap room - we have very few elite players a ton on short term deals expiring in the next year or tow. Second, you sign your best players. If you sign a better player, then one of your previous best players that is not a best player anymore if not worth signing. Unless, you are saying Beane does not know what he is doing so only sign the current players because I dont trust his judgement that someone else is better. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/2021/cap-hit/ Bills have not a single one of the top 100 salaries next year. Many teams have 5+. But the Bills cant afford to sign guys?
  22. It is about expectations. When Fitz was QB it was a joke. No one expected the Bills to win. So they accepted rooting for the underdog, quirky guy from Harvard. Tyrod was better and that led to higher expectations and then let downs. Fitz is not terrible for a bad team wanting a guy to throw the ball all over the place. But your not going to win. Tyrod was a guy that could help a good team win with his legs and lack of mistakes. But he was not going to carry a team on his back.
  23. Lee - I would be interested. Was solid for the Jets at times. Decent coverage LB and could play special teams. Pinckney - Practice squad potential
  24. To add: Yannick did not have a good year last year. The previous year he had 51 QB pressures - that was 4th in league. Up there with JJ Watt and Aaron Donald. That is more than Mario the last two years combined. Lawson led the Bills last year with 28. That is an elite pass rusher and what this team needs.
