Am I to believe that there are living, breathing people who honestly believe that all corruption exists because of a Trump administration and that there is no possible way that career politicians and officials in various government department couldn’t possibly be corrupt? What planet have some of you been on over the course of your lives? Hell; what country have you been living in? Obviously, you only started paying attention to politics after it was rumored Trump was going to buy the Bills and then that he was going to run for President and all you knew was that you hated the thought of him as owner and that translated to hating him as president. Then; you latched on to those who shared the opinion you had prematurely formed and are riding that horse until his legs fall off whether or not you’re getting anywhere. Don’t get me wrong; there are a couple of posters I have read on here that can 100% give genuine and proven, factual reasons as to why they may disagree with Donald Trump. But, I can guarantee those few posters also realize that the corruption before him and around him in D.C is also a disturbing thing and just because they don’t like Trump; they’re not willing to accept it.

Can you imagine what Richard Pryor would think if he were alive today? -
Nope. Sorry. I believe those are called “patriots”.

It’s actually blatantly obvious. The anti-Trump movement is because he doesn’t conform and they don’t like it. He’s not a threat to America. He’s a threat to their “America” and that’s all there is to it. -

What bothers me the most; I think; is that the alarms were sounded by many people throughout the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. They were mocked, stripped of their platforms or worse. Here we are now. We are in a place that most of us alive; unless they came to this country trying to flee from what we are seeing, are not accustomed to seeing. There are some on this very forum who have outed themselves as completely clueless and their naivety is deafening. All of those who lived under the idea that “it couldn’t happen here” are waking up every morning and staring right at it and many of them don’t even know it. -

Unfortunately; it’s probably too late for far too many of them. Others will ride it to the brink of toppling and jump off just in time. The smart ones; they’ve identified the mental instability for what it is and won’t get on board. -

It’s pathetic and politicians are currently jockeying for position for November. That’s all they’re doing. A majority of left and right leaning politicians who have any clout to make policy; never have been nor ever will be doing so in the best interest of the people. Right now, their claim of grandiose posturing is special affects for November. They’ve identified their scapegoats and are able to prop themselves up by pushing those scapegoats down. Anyone who opposes their broadway performances has easily been removed for the equation for decades. If you win a seat in local, state or federal government and do not conform to their processes and ideals; you are out. It’s a game and we always lose. They program people to think and believe things that are not true and this pins neighbor against neighbor. Simple politics. It doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, red, green, blue, purple or yellow; they’ll find a way to convince you that everyone else is against you and your only hope is in their ability to govern. You vote them in; and they give zero ***** until it’s time to vote again.
-
Thats exactly what they’re doing in the name of “social justice”. They drown out the legitimate voices because they do not give a *****. It’s a coordinated effort to derail our society. Neighbor against neighbor manipulation. They divide on purpose. ***** them all.

Not a soul said it. Some people as so obsessed with making him look stupid so when he says “do that inside the body” meaning; working to find a way to have the same results with their treatments as the results of these agents on surfaces.....which is what they were discussing at the time. Unfortunately for them; when you take the full statements of everyone involved in the discussion in context, there is not really much to make about them. However; when you have an audience as these main networks do; it’s easy to manipulate fact and twist it into put them in a frenzy. Panty twists if you will. They tried the same thing with Obama but, it was only a few and not a concentrated effort as it is with Trump. Which should suggest to anyone without an agenda that maybe Washington’s failures over the last few decades are not because of Trump and instead; realize that the lies and manipulation have been coming from the career politicians who have been in the position to enact changes to benefit the country but have not. These same career politicians are now lying and manipulating the public to hate a man simply because he doesn’t conform to their standards; which have been less about beneficial decisions for the country and more about greed and control. People eat it up because emotion is stronger than critical thought in 2020. Emotions are always thought of as either a weakness or a strength. When you can utilize them as a weapon, that is called control. For example; an abusive husband can manipulate a woman into submission mentally just as easily as he would physically but manipulating her with her own emotions. Likewise and on a less negative plane; a good salesman can manipulate a person into a purchase they wouldn’t otherwise make. On the same concept but on a larger scale; this is what they’ve done to us. The wonderful thing is; people with half a brain see right through it all. The not so wonderful thing is; there may be less of them than previously thought.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
The Guy In Pants replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Covid19 is quarantined until the political season has passed. Hell, it may never some back out. -
Something will end up pushing you to that point. Do it legal; do it safe and you’ll be fine.

If anyone wants to watch heads spin; suggest that there are two kinds of oppression in the US; actual and politicized. Follow that up with two types of caring; genuine and convenient. Take it one step further and suggest that consequences for choices we make can only be blamed on another person when the other person is the cause of the consequence. Follow that up with the idea that just because a crime is committed by a person of one ethnicity to a person of another ethnicity; does not automatically mean it was done because of disdain for the victims ethnicity. Of course; for those of you who will find what I just typed to be unbelievable; Believe it. Save your labels for someone who gives a *****. I’m in no way condoning abuses or any “ism” you can apply to this.

No, I completely understand. It’s a two sided coin. Those who only see police brutality as a problem and those who only see inner city violence as the problem. I am aware of how much time and effort go into trying to curb the influx of inner city violence. I know I will receive backlash from this statement but it is the truth; local police, churches and some business are usually very active in programs designed to mold youth and try to direct people away from violence. Sadly, there are also members of society who profit from these programs with little contributions to the communities. Most just latch on to an opinion or a movement due to emotion. It’s hard not to as human beings because, so much of who were are as individuals is driven by our emotional response to things that happen in our lives. That’s an entirely different conversation that dives into the world of neurobiology and there are people here who would not want to hear it and probably wouldn’t want to entertain the ideas brought forth. Anyway, and this is not directed at you; I am very tired of being placed in socio/political boxes simply because I don’t adhere to a recognized standard of outrage. People would do a lot of good to rid themselves of the practice of selective outrage and only being concerned about something when it’s convenient for them.

So, let me get this straight...... It’s racist to point out the thousands of murders a year, the drive by’s that kill children in their beds at night resulting from drugs or gang related activities and I read that it’s because of systemic racism and it’s not as important as the police brutality which I’m to believe is extremely rampant? So, I suppose myself; being someone who believes that it doesn’t matter who does the killing; murder is wrong and yet; I’m the problem? That’s spectacular.
-
So, solid read. Let’s recap: All Police are bad and unneeded. All white people are racist. All black people are poor because of white people. All white people are rich because of black people. Equal opportunity doesn’t matter. Equal results are needed. People can’t have a conversation without using the color of someone’s skin as a reason they couldn’t possibly know anything. Which is actually racist but it’s cool because racism only works in one direction because that’s just “racism” in a nut shell. Personal responsibility is solely on the shoulders of anyone not listed in the column under “systematically disadvantaged”. For those who fall under that category in Darwin’s grab bag; it’s everyone else’s fault. Its ok to group everyone together in a stereotype as long as those people being lumped together are police officers; white people, rich people and people we don’t agree with. If any of the previously listed stereotypes create their own stereotype about any of those who stereotypes them; that’s racist. All statistics are examples of systematic racism. Black people hate white people and white people hate black people. Because, well, they told us we do. (Newsflash; and I know you don’t want to hear this; the majority of us get along just fine. But, please, continue hating each other. The videos make for solid ***** box entertainment.) Should you find yourself somewhere in the middle; you’re a mother ***** racist. You’re refusal to pick a side means you automatically choose the side of racism and you’re a racist. All good points (not really). I’m dumber for having read half of this ***** but expect nothing less on the internet. Some of y’all need to relinquish the right to vote and see a doctor about removing the required tools for reproduction. Black, white, red, blue, green......who gives a flying *****? Not everyone fits a narrow minded stereotype. Don’t be a ***** moron and be excellent to each other. It’s not that gotdamn hard.
