For the Bears, White is really a nice fit. He’s a bit of a tweener, big long arms. 6-5, 280ish, but he plays with speed and power. He can rush inside in nickel situations and can play a base end in 4-3 looks. The only issue with him is that he is a bit raw and already 24 years old. But he improves the Bears DL in a number of ways.

Olujari is an edge guy yeah? I think he is being underrated some. He definitely gives you more impact, but I actually like some of the other guys better.

McDermott actually had him behind Tanner Vallejo early in camp. Milano had a very slow start, but picked it up. I give McDermott credit for finding him, but it’s not like they thought he was some amazing sure thing or anything.

It’s a weak draft and we have been in a pretty bad spot in both rounds. Unless other GMs blow it, we are probably looking at a similar experience in reality.

Yeah I have been back and forth on the edge guys. I don’t love Benton, but I get why people like him. I like Keion White, Foskey, they seem to be the long versatile guys McBeane loves.

I understand that sentiment and I like Tippmann for that, but they need to draft guys who are going to play. This isn't a build anymore, they should be shooting for a super bowl, and adding depth pieces just isn't doing that IMO. I know they will have to replace Morse, but I think it is rather low on the priority list. Again, JMO.

Definitely some truth there. He’s the anti Tremaine. For Campbell the game is moving slow for him, which is a good thing. There is no wasted movement in his technique and he makes a ton of plays. Tremaine looked really fast and athletic running to nowhere like a chicken with no head. I am really interested to see how things go down and what order these three top guys go in Campbell, Sanders, Simpson plus Henley as maybe the fourth. It really is an interesting race between three completely different guys for that top spot.

Daron Payne is really the only one…and Dexter Lawrence, but he’s a different flavor. To me, I think what people really want but just don’t know it is a Jeffrey Simmons/Quinnen Williams/Christian Wilkins sized defensive tackle. 6-3, 305-310 range with the same quick first step as Ed Oliver. Find me one of those.

I mentioned somewhere, maybe in this thread that a couple of weeks ahead of the draft we would start seeing Campbell mocked in the first round. It seems to be happening. The perception that he is a second round pick is just perception. Suddenly he’s a 1 now.

He probably goes in the first because athletic traits and size, but the problem with him is something you can’t fix…he’s soft. He’s Andre Dillard. I’m not a fan.
