  1. Rappaport said he ran 4.53 at his pro day. That’s fine.
  2. I guess it's a generalization, but it seems like there are a bunch of people upset. I just think it's funny that we are always wrong! I think we will be fine.
  3. The risks on Mitchell aren't really crazy risks in round 2. I know it's only 1 pick back, but it makes a difference in these people's minds. Mitchell is what I would do, but kind of think they will take Franklin or DeJean. I do not have a problem with going Newton or DeJean and then trying to move 60 around. to get a receiver.
  4. For so many years people complained that Buddy Nix/Whaley never traded back and everyone wanted us to be like New England and trade back until you find value and stockpile picks. Beane is doing it and everyone seems upset. I liked but did not love Worthy. The majority of Bills fans thought he was a small, one trick pony who would get pushed around...but now that he was drafted by the Chiefs he is Tyreek Hill. If we took Worthy at 28 there would still be a ton of people complaining. The trading with KC thing is a little annoying, but at the end of the day, not taking the deal does not prevent KC from getting their guy. I think you have to be open to dealing with ALL teams, no matter who they are. If KC would have traded up for Ricky Pearsall people who have said the Chiefs were playing 3D chess and we were playing checkers. If we took Pearsall there would be rioting in the streets. The 5th year option stuff is mostly inconsequential to me. If the player is good by year 3 they get extended anyway. The 5th year option can be a detriment at times, especially later in the round and especially if you are picking someone you do not have a first round grade on. Beane is collecting ammunition to move around the board tonight and if he doesn't believe in the players that were there then trading back makes 100% sense. Whoever he takes tonight, people will complain. If he takes Franklin it's gonna be "well he could have had Pearsalll or Worthy or Mitchell or Coleman." If he takes Mitchell it's gonna be "well he has diabetes and they should have just taking Worthy to Franklin or whatever." I guess my point is, people will likely not be happy with whatever happens tonight, but I believe that Beane is doing the right thing here. I hope he picks the right players. I know its hard not to get emotional, but I just feel like it's a pointless venture. Let's wait and see.
  5. He's another guy who, like Keon Coleman, was going higher than Mitchell, Thomas etc before the combine. And after the combine much lower. But typically the early mocks are more true to form. I think he goes tonight and I am good with him.
  6. See I have different thoughts. I feel like NFL network doesn't show highlights much after day 1 and do the fluffy Rich Eisen run a 40 stuff to death. Day 3 ESPN still recaps and shows highlights for almost every pick, it just sometimes takes them a while to get back to it after listening to Trey Wingo make stupid comments. For me, NFL network has become watching the scroll on the bottom of the screen a lot of the time. The both have way too many commercials...JMO
  7. I have the same list but I will add Worthy. Any of those outcomes are good with me. I wasn't down with him at first, but digging deeper he can ball. I would rather have the top 3 or Thomas/Mitchell...but would be good with Franklin/Worthy.
  8. People will be mad no matter what happens!
  9. It’s so true. I had the same thoughts. I have kind of come to terms with the fact that both Buffalo and KC are going to take WR and whatever happens we will probably be left wondering if KC got the better guy. It sucks, but when we continue to pick in close proximity and have similar needs, it just is what it is at this point.
  10. I like the DeSean Jackson comp for Worthy. He’s that type of talent and I like the fit. Do I like the bigger guys like Thomas and Mitchell more? Yes. But those other guys are not comparable to Worthy imo. I think as fans we just kinda come up with excuses to prove our guy is the guy.
  11. That play sucked no doubt. But it’s a guy getting beat by one of the best players in the league. And it is one critical mistake In a game’s worth of dumb and preposterous mistakes and lack of execution and missed opportunities. It’s easy to hate on Dion, but that isn’t why they lost. I will not hesitate to hand out kudos if you are indeed correct!
  12. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to be a hater, but mathematically it doesn’t make sense. You are also taking away another leader on a team that has been gutted.
  13. The one thing I will say about Keon Coleman is he was way higher on draft boards in January and so I think he winds up going late 1 somewhere. People who liked Coleman before the combine aren’t going to hate him all of a sudden because he ran a slow 40. I just keep thinking about Beane being excited about Gabe Davis’ slow 40 because it allowed us to have a shot at him. I want Thomas or Mitchell, but I could see Coleman as a dark-horse. I think he will go higher than people think.
  14. A poster is floating a Dion Dawkins trade. I think it’s impossible.
  15. A Dion trade results in: 2024 Dead Cap: $22,739,499 2024 Savings: $-11,229,666 I don’t know how they do that.
  16. I’d do cartwheels if I could for anyone in tier 1. Would love any of the 3 in tier 2 and would be happy with a guy in tier 3. I absolutely love Thomas and Mitchell. I am intrigued by Franklin and Worthy and I think McConkey will be solid.
  17. @Virgil Obviously you made the right move with the trade up because Thomas was going to go to the Steelers at 20, or to another team in a trade up…and Worthy and McConkey are also gone. So it would have been Franklin/Leggette/Coleman etc, or another trade down scenario. Nice work. It was also a win-win because I took the guy I likely would have taken at 19 at 28. Out of the 3 mock draft outcomes for Buffalo, this one is my favorite.
  18. After trading down with the Bills, with the 28th pick in the TSW Mock draft 3.0, the LA Rams select Chop Robinson, Edge, Penn State. The Rams need defensive help in the secondary, and they could use depth at the OL spot. There is a ton of OL guys left on the board, but I feel good about what might be there in round two. I seriously considered Xavier Worthy because he adds a different element to the offense that would make them almost unstoppable with Kupp and Nacua. Plus Les Sneadś kid was Worthyś teammate at Texas. But their biggest need is in the front line and the Rams need to get to the QB. Pass rush dried up really quick, so I considered Chop at 19 as well as Johnny Newton. Being the first time the Rams have selected in the first round in a long time I am taking the gamble and taking the boom or bust Chop. He has some elite first-step quickness and though he is raw, he could produce right away opposite Byron Young and next to Kobie Turner. At this point in the draft, I think it is really good value and the Rams have spent a lot of time with Chop. He is not my favorite prospect (undersized one-year wonder upside plays from PSU ain´t my jazz, but I do think this is something the Rams are likely to do). He gets dinged a bit for his size and length, but he is very athletic and fast and I think he is a good fit in the Rams style of defense. @frostbitmic and Detroit are now on the clock.
  19. Man people are gonna be mad when we draft Chop Robinson. “When Manny Diaz speaks, I listen” McDermott at the press conference.
  20. The Hauska thing was Henry Anderson. I don’t think Hendrickson is a dirty guy, but I don’t recall the Allen thing.
