  1. A Dion trade results in: 2024 Dead Cap: $22,739,499 2024 Savings: $-11,229,666 I don’t know how they do that.
  2. I’d do cartwheels if I could for anyone in tier 1. Would love any of the 3 in tier 2 and would be happy with a guy in tier 3. I absolutely love Thomas and Mitchell. I am intrigued by Franklin and Worthy and I think McConkey will be solid.
  3. @Virgil Obviously you made the right move with the trade up because Thomas was going to go to the Steelers at 20, or to another team in a trade up…and Worthy and McConkey are also gone. So it would have been Franklin/Leggette/Coleman etc, or another trade down scenario. Nice work. It was also a win-win because I took the guy I likely would have taken at 19 at 28. Out of the 3 mock draft outcomes for Buffalo, this one is my favorite.
  4. After trading down with the Bills, with the 28th pick in the TSW Mock draft 3.0, the LA Rams select Chop Robinson, Edge, Penn State. The Rams need defensive help in the secondary, and they could use depth at the OL spot. There is a ton of OL guys left on the board, but I feel good about what might be there in round two. I seriously considered Xavier Worthy because he adds a different element to the offense that would make them almost unstoppable with Kupp and Nacua. Plus Les Sneadś kid was Worthyś teammate at Texas. But their biggest need is in the front line and the Rams need to get to the QB. Pass rush dried up really quick, so I considered Chop at 19 as well as Johnny Newton. Being the first time the Rams have selected in the first round in a long time I am taking the gamble and taking the boom or bust Chop. He has some elite first-step quickness and though he is raw, he could produce right away opposite Byron Young and next to Kobie Turner. At this point in the draft, I think it is really good value and the Rams have spent a lot of time with Chop. He is not my favorite prospect (undersized one-year wonder upside plays from PSU ain´t my jazz, but I do think this is something the Rams are likely to do). He gets dinged a bit for his size and length, but he is very athletic and fast and I think he is a good fit in the Rams style of defense. @frostbitmic and Detroit are now on the clock.
  5. Man people are gonna be mad when we draft Chop Robinson. “When Manny Diaz speaks, I listen” McDermott at the press conference.
  6. The Hauska thing was Henry Anderson. I don’t think Hendrickson is a dirty guy, but I don’t recall the Allen thing.
  7. This guy compares him to Nico Collins.
  8. When we kind of worked out the numbers, trading to the teens, it's essentially 28 and 60 or 28 and the future 2. The other pieces are ancillary, but doing this exercise it really does feel like the future 2 is there to use as fuel for the trade-up. I know we kind of knew this already, but grinding the numbers on the trade with Virg proved to me that this is the case.
  9. I wonder who is leaking all this Thomas stuff. Somebody definitely wants him to drop. To me, the labrum isn't a big deal. Also to me its the top three...then Thomas Jr. in his own class. The argument can be made that Worthy may be in his own class because he is unique. Then I think it is everybody else.
  10. Rams willing to trade back if anyone wants.
  11. I’ve seen comps all over the place for him…Dyami Brown, Diontae Johnson, Jamison Crowder…Matt Miller says Tyler Boyd. This dude says he is Antonio Brown. The comps are all over the place.
  12. Yeah i don't understand the Jonah Williams signing locking Johnson into RT. I think Johnson is better than Williams and should have been moved to LT this year.
  13. I actually like Pearsall more than I like McConkey, but I understand why McConkey is the higher-ranked prospect. He just seems more likely to make it. Pearsall's 3 cone and ridiculous explosion numbers make him pretty tempted. I still don't see a first-rounder in either.
  14. I think Kyle Hamilton comes to mind. But he also plays in a defensive scheme that is made for free lancing and things of that nature. I do think it is a fair critique because I don't think McDermott's defense is very multiple and so I am not sure a player like that would have success as a swiss army knife. That said I think he'd be a great corner in this system and an all-pro safety.
  15. Agreed. I think some circumstances made it so, but I just don't think I see a first round player. At the same time, I think he is going to be very good so I am pretty conflicted honestly.
  16. See I like McConkey and I think he will be successful. And I don't have a problem with drafting him. But I do have trouble with him in round 1. Like he is small. He isn't tiny, but he is small. I guess my biggest issue is that he wasn't insanely productive in college, his best season was 762 yards. I do think he will be a better pro and I think he helps, but he isn't the real answer. I'm down with him as a "second guy."
  17. I think Franklin is but I don't think Pearsall is.
  18. I am still in the same camp. I want one of the top 3 and feel they are unattainable. I want them to draft one of Brain Thomas Jr. or AD Mitchell. I think these two guys are ideal fits. I think they will draft 1 of Franklin, Worthy, or McConkey. These guys represent what Beane was saying he wants in a WR.
  19. Must be cool to be a Broncos fan. Awful uniform reveal and a trade for Zach Wilson in the same day.
  20. I agree, just reliving the whole thing again makes me question if we were ready or not and that is a coaching issue. Sliding protection away from Chris Jones on a very critical play was most upsetting and egregious to me.
  21. I really like Paul. I think he is better than some of these tweeners. He is a pure left tackle and his floor is early second round, but I could totally see him sneaking in the first for whoever misses out on Morgan.
  22. So the answer should always be smash. But these jerseys are pretty bad. Like not cool bad like terrible bad. I do like the throwbacks though.
  23. Yeah I mean if there is a place where Wilson has a chance to make it it’s with Payton competing with Stidham. And Wison is still more interesting than that next crop of quarterbacks. He needs to grow a beard or something. A little re-birth.
