  1. You know I think on some level Coleman was looked at negatively on here by majority. I think some people maybe just fell in love with their guy and Coleman wasn’t it. I know there were a few guys on the Coleman train. The Franklin stuff is silly because he is still on the board. The Leggette and Worthy stuff is also silly becuase I think it’s obvious the Bills did not want those guys. I also think it is pretty likley that the Patriots would have taken Coleman at 34 if the Bills passed. I was on the Thomas/Mitchell train but I like a lot of what Franklin etc brought to the table. I wanted Mitchell but still like Coleman. My initial feelings were similar in the Josh-Josh debate. I liked both guys, liked the wrong one a little more. Obviously like a lot of people I was wrong. Time will tell, but Coleman makes a ton of sense on a lot of different levels. He is in some ways the Josh Allen of WR. Rawness in his game, but massive, massive upside if he can put it all together. I’ll take a shot on a guy like that any day. What I do like is that they made this pick with clear heads after thinking it over for 24 hours or whatever. I am excited for Coleman to bring a dimension of offensive playmaking ability here that we have not really seen in quite some time.
  2. @GunnerBill what do you think about doubling down with Hicks? You have to young guys who I think could be your tandem group for the next 4 years. I feel like their game has some crossover, but they can certainly play together in my mind.
  3. Great point. Being a two sport athlete would contribute to some of the rawness in his game as his time was split for so long. Now he will get the highest level of coaching and if he refines his game he is going to be a problem. If you want an ideal piece of clay, this guy is it.
  4. Likely an IOL like Mason McCormick or Beau Limmer Tez Walker or Ryan Flournoy MJ Devonshire or Quantez Stiggers or TJ Tampa Austin Booker or Javon Solomon or Braiden McGregor or Xavier Thomas Kristian Boyd Jeremiah Trotter Jr Tory Taylor or Ryan Rekhow or Matthew Hayball (lefty) Probably a RB
  5. The should definitely use one of those picks tomorrow on Taylor the punter from Iowa.
  6. definitely risk reward but i would like it. If he makes it, it could be quite impactful. I also like Issac and Braiden McGregor.
  7. 95 feels like classic Beane running back spot. Would be cool to get Franklin or Walker. The McCromick guy is interesting. TJ Tampa is a good scheme fit.
  8. He looked like he was in “James Cook high as a kite” mode. He probably partied all night got off a long flight. It is fun to see the Giants fans freaking out though!
  9. Rappaport said he ran 4.53 at his pro day. That’s fine.
  10. Very athletic, long arms, has burst. He’s raw, but interesting.
  11. I guess it's a generalization, but it seems like there are a bunch of people upset. I just think it's funny that we are always wrong! I think we will be fine.
  12. The risks on Mitchell aren't really crazy risks in round 2. I know it's only 1 pick back, but it makes a difference in these people's minds. Mitchell is what I would do, but kind of think they will take Franklin or DeJean. I do not have a problem with going Newton or DeJean and then trying to move 60 around. to get a receiver.
  13. For so many years people complained that Buddy Nix/Whaley never traded back and everyone wanted us to be like New England and trade back until you find value and stockpile picks. Beane is doing it and everyone seems upset. I liked but did not love Worthy. The majority of Bills fans thought he was a small, one trick pony who would get pushed around...but now that he was drafted by the Chiefs he is Tyreek Hill. If we took Worthy at 28 there would still be a ton of people complaining. The trading with KC thing is a little annoying, but at the end of the day, not taking the deal does not prevent KC from getting their guy. I think you have to be open to dealing with ALL teams, no matter who they are. If KC would have traded up for Ricky Pearsall people who have said the Chiefs were playing 3D chess and we were playing checkers. If we took Pearsall there would be rioting in the streets. The 5th year option stuff is mostly inconsequential to me. If the player is good by year 3 they get extended anyway. The 5th year option can be a detriment at times, especially later in the round and especially if you are picking someone you do not have a first round grade on. Beane is collecting ammunition to move around the board tonight and if he doesn't believe in the players that were there then trading back makes 100% sense. Whoever he takes tonight, people will complain. If he takes Franklin it's gonna be "well he could have had Pearsalll or Worthy or Mitchell or Coleman." If he takes Mitchell it's gonna be "well he has diabetes and they should have just taking Worthy to Franklin or whatever." I guess my point is, people will likely not be happy with whatever happens tonight, but I believe that Beane is doing the right thing here. I hope he picks the right players. I know its hard not to get emotional, but I just feel like it's a pointless venture. Let's wait and see.
  14. Brandon Beane? Who the Bills picking at 33?
  15. He's another guy who, like Keon Coleman, was going higher than Mitchell, Thomas etc before the combine. And after the combine much lower. But typically the early mocks are more true to form. I think he goes tonight and I am good with him.
  16. See I have different thoughts. I feel like NFL network doesn't show highlights much after day 1 and do the fluffy Rich Eisen run a 40 stuff to death. Day 3 ESPN still recaps and shows highlights for almost every pick, it just sometimes takes them a while to get back to it after listening to Trey Wingo make stupid comments. For me, NFL network has become watching the scroll on the bottom of the screen a lot of the time. The both have way too many commercials...JMO
  17. I have the same list but I will add Worthy. Any of those outcomes are good with me. I wasn't down with him at first, but digging deeper he can ball. I would rather have the top 3 or Thomas/Mitchell...but would be good with Franklin/Worthy.
  18. People will be mad no matter what happens!
  19. It’s so true. I had the same thoughts. I have kind of come to terms with the fact that both Buffalo and KC are going to take WR and whatever happens we will probably be left wondering if KC got the better guy. It sucks, but when we continue to pick in close proximity and have similar needs, it just is what it is at this point.
  20. I like the DeSean Jackson comp for Worthy. He’s that type of talent and I like the fit. Do I like the bigger guys like Thomas and Mitchell more? Yes. But those other guys are not comparable to Worthy imo. I think as fans we just kinda come up with excuses to prove our guy is the guy.
  21. That play sucked no doubt. But it’s a guy getting beat by one of the best players in the league. And it is one critical mistake In a game’s worth of dumb and preposterous mistakes and lack of execution and missed opportunities. It’s easy to hate on Dion, but that isn’t why they lost. I will not hesitate to hand out kudos if you are indeed correct!
