I liked Rosen a lot, also liked Allen, so I wasn’t like a wrong Josh guy, but I loved the pick. I liked Darnold too. Was ok with any of the 3. But I was ready for them to pick either Josh and liked either for different reasons. I did not want Baker. Was a Baker hater. Didn’t like Jackson either and absolutely hated Mason Rudolph. And yes, none of us really know anything! That’s 100% truth.

Beane said they see him as a tackle, but Kromer wants guys to be flexible so they will see how he looks at guard as well.

I think Palmer is the Cooper replacement. They are paying him like a significant guy. Shavers is the Collins replacement at the moment imo.

Playing nose in this defense has nothing to do with leverage. They are a gap attacking, penetrating scheme. They pick the guys they think fit their scheme. What we think their scheme should be is and what they should be looking for in a nose is irrelevant.

I’ve spent a lot of time clinicing with the UCONN offensive line coach and he knows his stuff. These guys are coming out with really good technique.

Hairston will compete to start. Strong will compete to be CB3/4 and I think Hancock seems like a nickel/safety depth upgrade. White seems like the contingency plan if Hairston isn’t ready. Guys like Dane and Lewis are nice to have around, but depth should be young cheap guys with upside IMO.

I get that Tez is the last guy left, but a 154 lb WR who run 4.51? No thanks.
