When Karlos Dansby was here for a visit, I was very much against him coming here. Now I've changed my mind. Edmunds is a younger, better Dansby. I think he would be a great guy to come in and be a part time player. You could have Edmunds play Sam in base sets and have Dansby on the field in the middle. In the nickel, Dansby could get off the field and your two backers are Milano and Edmunds. You could still have Edmunds call the defense, but having a vet like Dansby around makes a lot of sense imo.

The grades we are getting post draft are completely dependent on people's opinions on Josh Allen, which is dumb. Kiper gives us an A because he likes Josh, other analyst are giving us bad grades because they hate Josh. Reminds me of my old high school English teacher who would give you an A if you agreed with her, and would give you a C at best if you presented a differing opinion. The fact is there were 15-2O really great players in this draft...and we got two of them. We also got a top fifty player at ninety six. To me that's pretty good. We filled the two biggest issues this franchise has.

It isn't all on Culley and they keep talking about Daboll working with Allen. I think Daboll will spend a lot of time with the quarterbacks. I still think they should bring in Chudzinski to work as an assistant exclusively with Allen.

That's fine, probably a lie, but I assure you they did not have him as their #1 quarterback in the draft like Trappasso.

I still think it makes sense to go sign Luke Joeckel to play LG and have the rest of the guys compete. I'm hoping and praying McDermott wins the RT job and Newhouse is the swing guy who could also play guard. Mills goes and bags groceries somewhere, I dont think they will will have their backup center be a starter elsewhere so I think one of Groy or Bodine start, or they both start and they keep another C who can play guard to backup. Not sure if I could ever trust a Trappasso analysis ever again. His Mason Rudolph love makes me question his ability and his logic. His #1 QB, the sixth one taken, and in the mid third round.

I mentioned in the other thread but this dude was a running back in high school and I could see him being a Dion Lewis type of back who can catch balls out of the backfield, run the ball a bit, and play in the slot. If Daboll takes a Pats approach to our offense, a player like this makes a ton of sense. I think McCloud, Proehl, Foster all make this team.

I do think Ray Ray can do some of the third down back stuff the Pats always ask their backs too do. He was a running back in high school and about the same size as a guy like Dion Lewis or Kevin Faulk. I feel like that's what they do with Ray Ray...3rd back, some slot, and returns.

Fair enough. Still think we should have taken him at 12 or 22 when the entire NFL determined he was a 3rd round pick? I didn't necessarily have a problem with the player, my problem was that people were suggesting we reach on him, when he was clearly a third round pick.

Phone calls are definitely being made at this point. This is the point in the draft where you are better off not get drafted and get to pick your spot.

They could have added Streater back to the roster when he was healthy later in the season and they didn't bother doing so. Thinking he will be anything is playing the lottery. You never know, but the guy has done nothing in like 4 years. There are some nice players in this draft and there are guys who are going to get cut. Hell I'd throw a 7th at the Raiders for Seth Roberts, who seems to be the odd man out and could get cut. 6-2 and a 4.4 who has produced pretty good results.

Nick Deluca could be a nice fit as a SAM. Not super fast, but long and very process-like. I like the Fountain kid as well.
