Dilfer just has boring and basic opinions. No one should listen to what he has to say, he wasn't even a good QB himself.

Star and Shaq Stats Alarming
Pasaluki replied to BuffaloBillsMagic1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shaq's a rotational dlineman. He never lived up to his draft status, but is serviceable. Star's role is not only to eat up blockers but to dissuade teams from running up the middle. If you dont have a big fatty like that teams will run all day long. The defensive line is ok not great but is hardly worth worrying about when we cant field a coherent offense. -
Someone needs to be fired over Mahomes right now.

KC has a futuristic offense and we have a stone age offense with a rookie starter. -
Deadspin sucks almost as bad as Peterman but not quite

I like Tasker. His opinions are a bit vanilla, but it's cool that he's still involved with the Buffalo community. Ironically I think Mark Kelso is really underrated around here. I think he's got a great distinctive radio voice and is good at analysis. Also he always calls out bad penalties against the Bills with such angst. He's the man

Completely toast for 3/4 of the game. Seeing your career die before your eyes. Then scoring 25 pts in a quarter and throwing the game winner.

Hats off the McCarron. The guy has balls and should be on the team. Imagine for a minute if this was the superbowl.

Although embedded doesnt show the negatives I still find the parallels between embedded and hard knocks really interesting.

Rodak is a moron but Joe B. knows his stuff hopefully he will tweet something else out.

Helped themselves/Hurt themselves Preseason Game 1

The guy we got from Cleveland is reportedly pretty fast. Thats a good point though Foster was really good at getting open but cannot track the ball or catch. -
COMEBACKSZN Manziel is back!
Pasaluki replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to say Peterman may be off the hook for worst start Ive ever seen. Anyway even though this is embarassing for him I respect Manziel for still wanting to play football so i hope he gets it together. -
3-man QB competitions of Buffalo yore
Pasaluki replied to Buffalo86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kolb I think would have been a pretty good QB for us but he had an almost magnetic attraction to suffering severe head trauma. I actually think this qb battle isnt as heinous as some others in prior years. It looks terrible on paper yes but so far none of the qbs has stunk it up so im vaguely optimistic. -
I dont think its a totally crazy prediction. Peterman has looked much improved so far at minicamps but he will have to completely outplay AJ McCarron in TC and preseason to win the job. Obviously Allen is a wildcard too, but an argument can easily be made that he won't start the season. Petermans issue is that he is going to have high pressure to play really well immediately because obviously us fans can't gloss over the debacle at san diego.

I think one of the most important things a coach can do is motivate his players. Of the various ways to do this, religious faith can be a pretty powerful motivator. If McDermott is super religious and he is dealing with a religious player on the team its going to be very easy for him to motivate that player. Usually the more motivated and inspired team is the one that wins. On the flip side a team that cant be motivated (see the dolphins a few years ago) is just going to quit and kill the coaches career. My interest is in the Bills winning games. If there was a coach who was really good at motivating players who love peanut butter, i wouldnt be shocked if that coach was more likely to gather a decent amount of players who loved peanut butter.

Fred Jackson wall of fame or not?
Pasaluki replied to Original Byrd Man's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Part of what made Fred so valuable was that he was really good at everything despite not being truly elite. Fred Jackson made a legendary block on JJ Watt who was having one of the most dominating seasons ever. He his him so hard his leg became a mosaic of all the shades of purple. Was his talent the same as Barry Sanders? No. But Barry Sanders would have been destroyed by JJ Watt. He would have cried and retired even earlier. Yet Fred could do it. Fred could do everything. To say he doesn't belong on the WOF is just disrespectful of the impact he did have. -
Fred Jackson wall of fame or not?

He definitely deserves the WOF. Hell of a player for us who came out of obscurity.
