  1. I agree on the 4th down mentality. Another possibility was-if he makes the fg, do you go for an onside kick? I wouldn't have held that against McD if he tried it.
  2. Allen has to play perfectly for the Bills to win. Purdy can be bad for most of the game and win. Because he has support around him. Plus a genius offensive mind. The Bills need to get to a stage where Allen doesn't need to be near perfect to win games. It is never going to get us a SB title.
  3. As in, who has it better today? Technically the Bills. Guess what both of us have in common? No SB titles this year. If the Bills had 6 titles already, that would be acceptable. Would you be stunned if they move up to get an elite QB. And before you know it, win a SB before us? I certainly would not.
  4. Yeh. I don't understand posts like that. The Bills are a passion. Them winning would be glorious. Just because it's not literally life o death, does not mean it isn't important.
  5. 6/9 in SB's over a 20 year period. With 4 other conference title game appearances. Best QB in history. Along with a top 5 HC in NFL history. Yeh...who wouldn't want to be a Bills fan over a Pats fan?
  6. Because Reid prioritizes postseason ovr regular season. Things magnify in the playoffs. Reid owns Brady in the regular season. Yet, Brady gets him in the postseason. Every single time. Playoffs are a different animal. And Terry is maybe fearful that the replacement of McD could be worse.
  7. He went for it because of the shaky punter & the D not stopping a nose bleed. I don't mind going for it. I do mind the playcall itself.
  8. 2018 & 2021 If Houston was a competent team, they lose in 2019 too. Historically, they've struggled at home in the postseason.
  9. No. You make good point. I'm just saying a HC should only get so many opportunities to change coordinators.
  10. Yeah Bass making the kick would be moot anyways. We all know what would happen following that. I was watching and wondering if they should have just gone for it on 4th down. You know you are going to lose with a fg the other way anyways. Make them go get a Td.
  11. Replace him with who though? All of the great coordinators will get HC jobs or stay in a comfortable situation. How many OC's does McDermott get to go through?
  12. Wonder what it would take to get Mike Evans? He is a star receiver. Unfortunately, I think KC makes a run at him though.
  13. Yep. My fear is they won't get rid of the HC here until Allen hits a decline. We will be a middle of the pack team. Probably win a few more division titles. Win a playoff game against some tomato can like Pittsburgh. Follow it up by losing to a team with a better HC. So, middle of the draft picks. A HC that does enough to get to the postseason but do nothing. An owner unwilling to pull the trigger.
  14. Anyone think KC goes up and down the field on Baltimore with those receivers? Absolutely not. So the one saving grace is they likely don't win it again. But I'm tired of hoping other teams lose. Or, being "proud" of their effort. Every team in the league puts effort forward. This team isn't anything special in that regard.
  15. I don't understand how we keep beating them in the season. Yet, they keep beating us in the postseason. It boggles my mind. Only conclusion I come up with is one coach is made for postseason ball. Another...is not. But no, Allen didn't get it done when it mattered most. Not all on him though. Team game.
  16. The fact Gabe Davis was missed tells us all we need to know about this WR group.
  17. And Pegula won't do a darn thing. Which infuriates me. I think it's time more heat is on Beane too.
  18. We would not have. But it would have been better losing there than at home to our masters.
  19. Baltimore pass rush is going to wreck havoc on their OL. And they won't be going up and down the field. I think Baltimore wins it all in the end. Which tells me...this time would have gotten obliterated in Baltimore. Not that it makes this loss any better.
  20. Yeh....I am guessing most of the fan base does not share this sentiment.
  21. Yeah he's awful without Brady. An elite QB. Our problem...is anything but QB. So that's not an issue. He would also have this defense near the top of the league.
  22. McD was fine tonight. But it's not just this loss. I just feel there is a ceiling with him in the postseason. Things aren't progressing forward. Why ignore the fact there are legendary coaches available? They would jump at this opportunity. When is getting to the Divisional round not going to be enough?
  23. Give up picks to Minnesota for Jefferson. Try and get Higgins from Cincinnati.
  24. Why was he not cut weeks ago? Did McDermott have tryouts? His ass should not have been active today. Get a guy off the street. It's on coaching.
