  1. Thanks Casey. He’s referring to my weekly fan column in the BuffNews. Will the Bills weather the storm or get blown away? https://buffalonews.com/2019/10/29/buffalo-bills-philadelphia-eagles-fans-bills-mafia/
  2. So in other words you're not doing your work well OR your non-work activities from work?
  3. At under $2m the rest of this year and over $13 next year that’s about $10m per. We pay Star L that much.
  4. But that is what he was doing late.He threw a dangerous pass. I couldn't believe it.
  5. He's not the type. He was throwing 20 yard passes up by 30 points with six minutes to go on his own 15 yard line.
  6. To me he still throws a large portion of perfect passes in every game, but his portion of just bad passes is way up. Part of them can be explained away as his options. But he throws a lot to Edelman, too.
  7. He did say to the ref, "There was a guy right there!" when there clearly was not on Sunday night, as well as he knew nothing about deflated balls or a guy they called "The Deflater," so I don't think you can trust what the bastard says.
  8. Good answer by Jason Kelce. Sorry if this was posted elsewhere. https://twitter.com/ChrisTrapasso/status/1187410608771289089?s=20
  9. Fair enough. Lately we have been seeing a bunch of reports about teams that put in claims for guys that weren't awarded them, something we often didnt get before. Will be interesting to see, say, if he is awarded on waivers but the Bills did put in a claim. Gordon is a unique case though, and as I surmised earlier he may be able to pick his team more than other guys because of his past. As you say, we shall see. Cheers.
  10. I imagine he wants a team that is winning with a QB that can almost throw it out of the stadium who needs a guy just like him. It's a rather good fit.
  11. And when I say Grodon I don't mean Charles Grodon, I mean Josh Gordon.
  12. FWIW, this is a better scenario for me, too. I would love to trade for Green and think he would make a huge difference. I don't mind giving up the pick. If he is not available, or the price is too much, plan B is Gordon. If they could get him. I imagine that McDermott thinks highly of Grodon taking himself out of preseason last year. It was a thoughtful, adult thing to do. He wasn't in any trouble with the league.
  13. You were the one that brought up Zay as getting rid of a guy for personality issues. That is just not the case. I already said, IMO, he would not be any threat to the culture fit. That's just an opinion. A few years ago after like the third time he was in trouble I was like, how could a guy be soooooo dumb? Then I started reading up on him and found out that he wasnt, at all. He's a unique guy. I personally think that McDermott would or already does like him.
  14. It's possible, I'm sure, that the "availability" issue arises with McDermott but IMO they would and should be interested in him.
  15. They kept Zay for almost a year and a half after that. I'm sure they would do their homework on where Gordon is at right now. I would bet anything they are doing just that, not because they are necessarily very interested but because they need a guy like him and that is the due dilligence that Beane does. If they get a decent answer I think they are interested and should be. I really do not think he is a threat to the culture in any way, he's not that kind of guy.
  16. They went after Duke Williams. They were at least interest in AB. It was rumored they were interested in Martavias Bryant.
  17. He's not anything like the public perception of him. I think he would win over Beane and McDermott, as far as not being a distraction. I just think at this time in his career he likely does not want to go to a team like Miami, and it wouldnt be a good spot for him.
  18. I'm not talking money. The only possible way any team wants Josh Gordon on their team is if they truly believe he is all in, is not going to have any off the field issues, etc. if he tells them beforehand I'm not all in, I don't want to play for you I don't think they do it. Another player says that they say tough toenails.
  19. Agreed. And yet if he and his agent say the same thing to prospective crappy teams that may want to claim him they may not pick him or may allow that. I doubt a team will claim Josh Gordon that he doesn't want to play for. He may be in a unique position.
  20. Gordon is not a bad guy or cancer or thug or dumb at all. In fact his teammates liked him. He’s a very thoughtful intelligent guy. He may not be the threat he was but I think he’s an upgrade. I would work him out for sure.
  21. Duke doesn't have speed but that doesn't mean he wouldnt be in the endzone on that same play and a bigger target who can jump and get the ball.
  22. That's assuming they would have run the same pattern after Josh started scrambling. Duke seems to me to be the kind of guy who would run right to the endzone in that situation. I honestly didnt see where McKenzie came from originally on that play.
  23. One thing you cannot accuse Dave of is being a homer or leaning toward something because it is warm and fuzzy and says good things about the Bills. You should know that.
