  1. I like the Rousseau pick all things considered , but Bills blew it by not making a move up to draft Etienne. I also think the Steelers really needed more than another RB. I think they are in fantasyland about the talent on the team.
  2. Im hoping the bills trade up for Carter from NC...
  3. The no close ups on Greeny is getting weird at this point.
  4. 2:30 on clock they show first bills fans of the night on ESPN.
  5. JOK "we've heard of him because we're from the NE"
  6. 10 total minutes of Adam Schefter tonight. No Boomer or Mort?
  7. Has ESPN shown one Bills fan so far? Not one close up of Greeny either....
  8. Toney. Etienne. Hariss. Really wanted one of those dudes to open up the O.
  9. What are you talking about? Poz was a decent player. Decent guy. Not a bust at all. Never lived up to his hype, but should not mentioned in the same breath. He was a pro bowler w Jax one year, and could have been a Pro bowler for us if he'd been healthier. Flowers was yet another bad signing by this supposed "rising" miami team. Just another guy they are going to have to replace w a rookie or new face. They gave him 10 million per year! Miami's line next year looking like a dumpster fire. Last year's rookies underwhelmed, now will be several new faces.
  10. Id be ecstatic if we got Etienne, but i dont see he is seperated from some of the others to merit trading up. I like the NC RBs too.
  11. I'm sure they think so. Year after year they are active in FA and have all sorts of moves. I know those are 3 good players. Breida was good too, and they wrote him off too soon. Minkah Fitzpatrick was a generational talent. Tunsil was a solid player. They've cut the cord on many good players. I think they are trading football cards to win in April, more than win in jan-feb. I see this continuing. The proof will be in the pudding. I see 2021 as a huge setback year for the fins. I like the Brisset signing, but its not an upgrade from Fitz.
  12. Phins will draft a later QB, likely a 3rd or 4th rounder. Tua had a ton of upside when drafted...he was hurt afterall.
  13. They could have had Pitts, who is a generational talent. Now they need to cross their fingers ATL and CIN dont take him. I think Pitts is well above those other guys. BTW cannot stress how I 💘 them letting Godchaux, Lawson, and Van Noy walk. Phins are kidding themselves, and they've gotten worse.
  14. I honestly think Miami's rise is "severely" overrated. I don't like what they've done, and I'm not in love with their direction. For starters, Im not a believer in Tua. Nor was i a fan of throwing Tua in over Fitz. They keep jettisoning solid players for draft picks, yet the drafting has been so so. Draft picks are great, but you've got to draft players, keep them, and coach them. Let alone build a culture, etc... The trading back cuteness got the Pats in steady decline. They hit on a few, but missed elite players. I see similiar stuff happening in Miami. Pitts is sitting there, a future HOF'er if ive ever seen one. Dont overthink it. They overthink things and get cute. Much of the talent they've cut, traded, or trimmed would have made them better. Theyve missed on many FAs as well. Then there is Tua. Then there was that righteous pounding, beat down we gave them in January. Not exactly culture building. ...And Flores sure as hell is no Bill Billicheck.
  15. Sure, and QB flux where teams could stack boxes. Still had over 1500 AP yards and 16 total TDs. Regression or not, I'm pretty comfortable Etienne is a huge upgrade.
  16. Tough to turn this around on the fans. Singletary was pretty inefffective and mostly deserved some critique.
  17. Love it. I prefer Etienne or Toney as gadget guy, but would love Hariss.
  18. My big belief is that the pass rush was not a total disaster last year and we may be stronger rushing as well in 2021 for a few reasons; A. I like the potential of this new Efe dude. B. Addison may play better. C. Healthier Milano amd Edwards good for blitzes. D. Epenesa flashed and I see promise. E. Whole DL may click better w a healthy, rested, Star back in.
  19. My #1 Target is Kaderious Toney This is the electric guy we need. Year one he fills in for Andre KR/PR and we ease him into McKenzie role. Keep in mind, Sanders is a 1 year deal. McKenzie is still likely a fill in guy who will always be under the gun. I personally think McKenzie has too limited a use to be a long term. #2 choice for that first pick is Etienne #3 is Hariss #4 BPA Bills are in great shape with this pick.
  20. The world of copyright trademarks is vastly different across these areas. It's very complex and anyone, even an experienced copyright/trademark/ patent saavy lawyer would say there are no absolutes and you are potentially very very wrong. My point is there are no slam dunks. But I would wager the Snyder legal team is far craftier and more resouceful than you or I, let alone Mr. Macaulay. As for your question, I'm not going to head into or tie up the thread any longer. There are numerous ways to challenge the validity of copyright, pursue fraud, or find avenues in fair use. If your saying there is no way to challenge this, you are simply not correct. BTW need an example of Snyder's ability to turn a case into an epic and drag a fight out ? https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/public-safety/2017/06/29/a26f52f0-5cf6-11e7-9fc6-c7ef4bc58d13_story.html
  21. Ha...just I knew you were going to come at the angle of "im a lawyer" type reply. If you were, and you offered any kind of support for the notion that deep pocketed entities did not have a serious advantage in these situations...you're offering "marginal" insight... Obviously you did not even read the cited article in the chain, which also has a legal expert supporting my own belief that this man has a threadbare shot of whatever his goals are: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/washington-redskins-name-trademark-martin-mccaulay/ Let's further look at the guy's website: http://www.washingtonamericansfootball.com/home.html On the website, I quote; The Washington Americans will be one of the teams in a Washington DC area flag-football league starting in the year 2021. Other teams will include the Washington Red-Tailed Hawks/Redtails, Washington Redwolves, Washington Veterans, Washington Monuments, Washington Renegades, Washington Federals, Washington Sentinels, and Washington Justice. Click on the team names to visit their websites. This is actually potentially fraudulent. There are so many potential angles to go after him its not even funny. BTW several of these teams already exist, such as the Washington Renegades Rugby Team, Washington Justice is a fairly established pro Gaming Team. They even brew their own beer.
  22. Yeah you're simply not correct. I love the snarky know it all answer, but you're just not accurate. There are ways to challenge the validity of a copyright, and there are also angles with fair use. Examples you cite are likely a poor comparison. Website URLs are not comparable, The money of the WFT to pursue in court is far greater than this one uppity dude with a half ass trash website is pretty pretentious. It takes money to fight appeals and pursue in court. WFT has more money, and likely can craft a legitimate challenge or exhaust this dudes ability to pursue. For starters, there is no logo or colors this man has copyrighted , and a copyright would entail a larger scale than a name alone. The notion someone wrote an bull#### website and copyrighted the name of a city paired. I also question his dissenterest in financial gain. I'm no fan of Snyder but they would eat this well wishing gent for breakfast if they so choosed. Looks like we will never know. In the end, the guy just looks like an ass.
  23. That dude has no case on his team names...an NFL team would eat him for breakfast. Website actually lies and says the name is going to be used for flag team? I thought Washington United should have been the name. The name is used by several teams, so copyrights would be marginal and it would sister up with DC United. I dont know about Snyder selling the team as a factor. He's still a businessman and could have sold a lot ofmerchandise.
  24. From PFF today in ref to best free agents left: 21. WR SAMMY WATKINS Once looking like a future star, Watkins has leveled off as a complementary receiver over the past few years. He’s never gotten back to his career-high 89.8 grade in 2015, though he posted solid grades between 69.0 and 74.0 from 2016 to 2019 across three different teams. Watkins’ 64.4 overall grade in 2020 is the lowest of his career, though he always seems good for a couple of dominant games per season, and last year it showed up at the right time during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl run. Contract Analysis: Watkins agreed to an incentive-laden pay cut before the 2020 season to run it back with the Chiefs for another shot at a Super Bowl. Otherwise, Kansas City would have moved on from the receiver it originally signed to a three-year, $48 million deal back in 2018. Watkins was the top wide receiver on the market that year, with Allen Robinson II coming off a torn ACL being the next best available. Watkins won’t have that same luck this time, as he’s way down the list of top free-agent wide receivers. Nevertheless, the former No. 4 overall pick is still a serviceable player when healthy and will be only 28 years old. Prediction: Three years, $30 million ($10M APY): $21 million total guaranteed, $16.5 million fully guaranteed at signing I'm not a fan of signing Watkins for that, not in a million years, and generally not a fan of him as a WR 5 in Buff. I more like the potential upside of Kumarow and Hodges. .
