  1. So yes, that feild position battle was really huge early on, was stunned at some of those early returns, Andre a bit off his game. One time , a ball sat so strange. BTW not over concerned with lack of Bills pressure. This was a killer OL on their top game. It was a factor here, but the Bills will recover. We do need an elite rush DE going forward.
  2. Its fun when the fandom clicks in them. My daughter is 9 and was in tears for the hail "Murray" it took the edge off the loss. Its always about the chase and the memories.
  3. Everyone agreed that fumble call was bogus....ive been getting texts and emails from a myriad of non bills fans saying that was a bad call.
  4. Totally agree... this was the best team we've played all year including the Steelers or Seahawks..Colts and Rivers are an excellent football club and they brought their A game ...well done Colts what a win for us. What a goddamn game.
  5. Yes you're right but this was the best offensive line we've seen all year
  6. This is mine too. Colts 32nd in Kick Return coverage. Look for a big one.
  7. What a loser. Id feel different if he qouted accurate stats, comparisons, or viable film study...he does not....same old line, brings up Allen's catastrophic 3 game slump, cherry picks deceptive passer rating stats, just lame.
  8. The problem with this equation is Rivers. Not a ball controll kind of QB. He throws picks, more importantly fumbles...especially in cold weather games. Also he cannot run. Im just going blind here, but i bet QB mobility played a huge role in that clock control.
  9. Dude...its one game at a time. Gotta give everything and take nothing for granted.
  10. Yes , that would be a mistake, unless situational short yardage , red zone etc.... ( even if he runs more, Allen wont run that much where it would be worth their while every down) Id think it would open things up and put a lot of liability on an underperforming 2ndary in coverage. Then spying on short-yardage goal line is usually done anyways, I mean Allen is always a threat for that situation.
  11. Yep, i also agree w you. With playoffs they open this whole thing up. No more pacing Allen....we will see some badass runs.
  12. Yep no one has tried to double diggs and run the ball on us... Theres no easy template to beat us. You're going to have to hope our defense reverts to early season form ( when both LBs and DBs were out) , allowing long drives being the more important notion of "stopping the run", that our offense turns the ball over 2-3 times ( yes, not just win turnover battle), score on ST or Defense, then I really believe you have a mobile QB who can run for 1st downs, then hopes a clutch QB chokes in the 4th quarter...which he has not often done lately. ( not even in AZ loss) Even with this happening we were 1-2 plays from winning 2/3 losses...even the Titans game was nearly back in reach in the 3rd quarter. Again, I dont think we can be beat by a team without a mobile QB.
  13. Yes, 3 total turnovers killed us. We were also poor on 3rd downs, 6/10 , 1/1 4th downs. Lots of long drives, then the bottom fell out for us in Q4. ( which is so rare for us) If I recall, Tannyhill made a ton of plays with his legs in that one. Running QBs scare me, immobile guys like Rivers just dont. In addition to his key runs, he escaped the rush and hit a lot of passes on the move/ under pressure. The teams that tendvto gash us in the run were also typically spread offenses with QBs who can move.
  14. The Bills D is not being talked about enough. These guys have been playing hard. Cant stress enough how overrated the vulnerbility to the run. Is in W/Ls and has been blown out of context. Bills are 7-2 versus top 15 NFL running teams. One loss being hail murray, the other Tenn. Both losses occurred on the road.
  15. Colts had easiest schedule in the NFL in 2020 http://powerrankingsguru.com/nfl/strength-of-schedule.php
  16. Colts have a good return unit, but struggle in KR coverage. Ranked #32 in coverage. https://www.lineups.com/nfl-team-rankings/special-teams
  17. Buried in there; Colts rookie PK Blankenship 1-4 on kicks beyond 45 yards . woof....
  18. Hot take: I dont think we need to stop the run to win. Look at this past game, 200 plus yards and they barely beat the Jags. A JV offense and Jax could have won. Rivers cant beat this D. Hes going to get sacked and cough up the ball. Im not saying this out of disrespect, Rivers has always turned the ball over a ton, even in games they win. Rivers cant run, so this is a huge bonus to our D who have eaten alive immobile QBs. Both those will be brutal versus the Bills O. My big key to the game is force 3rd and longs. Get Rivers in this down and we will win. Chargers will need to score 35 to compete....can they do that? Not if they need to drive the field and convert 3rd downs. No sir. Too many things need to line up for colts to win.
  19. I agree should not be cocky...our team wont be. They are the ones who need to be grounded. Based on almost everything measurable, you would be foolish to pick against Buffalo. Then again, based on intangibles ( Philip Rivers winning @ Buffalo?) You would be pretty foolish to pick against buff as well.
  20. But....we could blow them out. The past several weeks, someone has said " we are not blowing them out" for every team we've blown out.
  21. Taylor has got to be tired AF running so much last week, then pushing this late into a season. They cant expect to lean on him as hard.
