My opinion is that we need to stop micro-analyzing his every move and throw. He's had some great throws and lots of bad throws. He is making mistakes and poor decisions. But he is getting his trial by fire, and the real test is what does he become starting next year. Everyone needs to adjust expectations and buckle up for the rest of the year. I still expect his attitude and work ethic to produce a much improved performance down the road.
Ravens, Charges, Vikes, Packers, Titans... Those teams are a combined 13 - 10 on the year.
we came out 2-3 against those teams... many guessed we would be 0-5 at this point, we could very well win the next two weeks and face NE with a 4-3 record.
Allen plays like a rookie... he makes a lot of rookie mistakes... but he also makes plays that are amazing. He had several throws today that were fantastic. With time and more playmakers around him, we will hopefully see more of the good and less bad. In the meantime, we need to see more of today's recipe- heavy run game and top notch defense.
Yep, apparently Allen has experience hurdling players... as exciting as it was, not sure I want him to keep it up though!
Here's a couple videos from Wyoming days-
See around 4:35
And in this one around 3:12
He was supposed to two-hand touch him and not tackle him... if he had done so, then surely Thielen would have stopped right there, short of the first down.
