  1. It was just a comment at the very end of the interview that has kind of grown legs and taken off. He wasn't disrespectful at all IMO. They asked him the question and he said "oooo...we could find out!" The other guys then said challenge is on and it has kind of taken off from there. https://www.barstoolsports.com/boston/our-best-friend-josh-allen-stops-by-the-yak
  2. found link to the full interview - https://www.barstoolsports.com/boston/our-best-friend-josh-allen-stops-by-the-yak Also editing the OP to include it there.
  3. My view is that I love that he has a fire in him like this. He loves to compete and have fun doing it. This is just a part of it... I hope to hear the interview and context, but sounds to me just like good-natured fun. Similar to the throw it out of the stadium idea... means nothing in reality, but it shows his personality, it's a part of who he is.
  4. Josh was on Barstool Radio today... Here is the full interview link - https://www.barstoolsports.com/boston/our-best-friend-josh-allen-stops-by-the-yak
  5. Here is an article from 2010 (also written by Tim Graham) that quotes Shanahan saying that his wife and kids wouldn't come to Buffalo- http://www.espn.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/10831/buffalo-wasnt-family-spot-for-shanahans "But at the end of the day, it was not something that ... I want to put it in the right words: If I went to Buffalo to live there, from my family perspective, I think I'd be the only one that'd go. My wife and kids wouldn't go."
  6. Yeah I just finished reading that. I also picked up on that line, thought it was an interesting side note, I had never heard that before either.
  7. Yeah I noticed that too... the optics of putting him up there as a Bills coach must not have been the look they were after!
  8. I loved his Steve Tasker and Don Beebe comment at the end... said he looked up to Tasker as a kid and is getting their jerseys for his kids!
  9. Looks like Rex is not the front-runner in KC.
  10. What if instead of giving the teams challenge ability, they have a ref challenge- someone who is monitoring the feeds and can stop the play based on something they see on the screen. They could define parameters in such a way that it would only be used to catch situations like this, not used in the scenarios that are judgement calls.
  11. And Schefter is suggesting Rex could be in the mix? I would really hate to see Rex get to the Super Bowl... but I suppose it would make for sweet victory if we were to face him in the playoffs and win sometime in the next few years...
  12. These next 4 months will be very interesting, as we see what Beane does to bring in the all important new pieces to the puzzle. With the right additions on the OL and WR/TE, we could really see some fireworks next year.
  13. A good read, looking back on how Daboll made adjustments, adding in air raid concepts that gives a lot to look forward to in 2019. An excerpt
  14. Great stuff... Here is the video link to the podcast interview with McDermott
  15. Looks like he was a candidate for the job in Indy, looks like a good hire to me. https://coltswire.usatoday.com/2019/01/15/indianapolis-colts-bobby-johnson-candidate-offensive-line-coach/
  16. Looking for a Carolina connection... so far I can't find one. Not sure how he got hired?
  17. Now this is interesting... looks like he worked for a little while with STRIVR Labs- a start up company that partnered with the NFL for virtual reality training. - https://www.strivr.com/nfl-partnership-with-strivr/ Here in this article he is mentioned along with Trent Edwards (yeah... that guy!), helping Vikings set up the new system at that time (2015). http://www.startribune.com/high-tech-hits-the-field-at-vikings-camp/318733721/ https://www.vikings.com/news/vikings-to-implement-virtual-reality-technology-15523213 https://vrjournal.com/vikings-discover-new-world-and-its-virtual-reality-technology/ Trent Edwards is co founder... https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2015/7/24/9024017/trent-edwards-nfl-virtual-reality-strivr-labs-buffalo-bills
  18. Here is another great story on him from the end of his playing career- https://www.fieldgulls.com/2013/5/31/4383520/heath-play-love-would-seahawks-do-well-in-going-far-without-special Sounds like he focused on ST from college...
  19. Get past the Panther stuff... he was only there a year.
  20. Could be a great addition, great story... https://www.theolympian.com/sports/nfl/seattle-seahawks/article26080978.html Former special teams ace, ST captain for Seattle and they converted him to coach after injury.
