  1. True... I have resigned myself to a miserable year this year, which means we will see lots of "sky is falling" chicken little's around here. That is not to say that all criticism is unwarranted. McBeane shouldn't get a free pass entirely, but I am of the mind that a year from now is when they should really start to be held to account. Right now they are still laying the foundation, which includes digging out the old to make way for the new, painful and ugly work. A year from now we should be seeing the above ground product that can and should be critiqued.
  2. This pretty much says my point of view...
  3. Yeah me too... started Marvin over Randall. Sigh... And I also had Baldwin
  4. Darnold looks good... but also he has receivers helping him look good.
  5. Do we see Allen for some in game experience if things are out of hand in the second half??
  6. Good stuff... I will admit that I am an optimist/homer... but this team is going to surprise people. Both this year, and in the years to come.
  7. Joe B's take-
  8. It was a homerun swing and a miss... but I am glad they took the swing. As has already been elaborated many times, the cost was minimal and the potential was incredible. Though they missed this time, I am glad to have management that is taking measured risks, within the framework of a clear plan.
  9. Sounds like he brought his attitude with him... It was worth the shot... if he had worked out, everyone would be celebrating the deal.
  10. Good read... building the foundation the right way. Just what we need...
  11. I am torn... I voted no, then I changed to yes, and I think I will stick with that. Here's the thing about what happened yesterday... have we forgotten how Nate handled relentless pressure? Our line is bad.. yes that's true, but yesterday was worse because of the intentional cycling of players at positions that they aren't normally in. In some cases Allen had 1 sec before he was hit. No one can perform under that kind of failure to protect. A part of me is wondering if the coaches did this to see how he would respond to adverse conditions. Other than the one throw that should have been intercepted, he didn't make many mistakes. I believe with Shady on the field, and a stable (albeit poor) O-line, I say start Allen.
  12. And I am turning off the game... no need to watch the rest...
  13. for those who missed it... or just want to watch it over and over again...
  14. Wow... something special is cooking here in WNY. Building a winning culture the right way. I am all in on the process.
  15. Still no proof... going for the money.
