  1. Here is an interview from July 2018 where the Edmonton coach answers several questions about Duke, he has a lot of good things to say about him here- (start around 4:25) And then here is an interview with Duke (Sounds like he might be "The Process" material-
  2. By laying the foundation that they have ("The Process"), they have created an environment to bring in guys like this. I am sure they did their homework on him, and it seems from the reports from the CFL that he has changed. They are giving him a chance here, and it could be a home run. If it doesn't work, he will be gone. Similar to the Corey Coleman situation. It's like the old adage about a rising tide lifts all boats... he will either rise to the occasion and contribute, or he will be gone before the season starts.
  3. He certainly isn't a choir boy! Loads of potential... was Kiper's top WR draft prospect at one point in time.
  4. It is ridiculous.... but here is the explanation, apparently the fines are set by CBA
  5. Thanks for sharing, that was fun to read. And this type of conversation is part of what has made Josh such a great fit here. I think the odd's are iffy that he can do it, but I love that he thinks about it and that we are having this conversation.
  6. He talked about in the WGR interview here (skip to 11:53) https://omny.fm/shows/howard-and-jeremy/playlists/podcast/embed?style=artwork&share=1&selectedClip=e7ab1d11-1af8-4886-a0e9-a9cb00f43f38 Sounds like he is definitely considering it, my guess is it happens at some point in time.
  7. My view has been to withhold all judgement on McBeane until 2019... and here we are! The events of the next 12 months will tell the tale... 12 months from now we will either be in the playoffs or we will be on the list of teams who are considering firing and starting over. My expectation is that we have the foundations in place for long term sustained success. I agree with Beane's draft comments, with a long term view- you will always be better off drafting with a priority on BPA and not need. That doesn't disregard need... but it means when it is time to pick they should select from a handful of the top players available on their chart with need as a secondary factor.
  8. Kyle.... thank you for a great career! The touchdown last year was one of the greatest Bills moments in recent memory! http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-films-sound-efx/0ap3000000902630/Sound-FX-Kyle-Williams-TD-run-catches-teammates-off-guard
  9. Who's cutting onions in here! Wow... great story. Well done.

  12. I don't watch it or particularly care, but it is nice to see players recognized.
  13. Would have thought we would have at least one? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001001792/article/nfl-reveals-rosters-for-2019-pro-bowl-in-orlando?campaign=Twitter_atn Although Carucci report Kyle is 1st Alternate-
  14. Here is a good excerpt from Matt Fairburn's article on Foster in The Athletic (subscription) - https://theathletic.com/717759/2018/12/16/that-boy-is-balling-robert-fosters-historic-production-sparks-bills-win-inspires-fellow-rookies/
  15. Fair enough... but my only point in this is that KB's inadequacy is a factor in all of this. There are many factors, and I don't really care for simple narratives or blanket statements. Allen for sure has struggled with inaccuracy at points, but I don't think it is fair to label him as incredibly inaccurate (like some have). He has thrown an increasing number of great throws. By nature, he is going to always have a lower completion percentage, if his style (and the play calls) is primarily pushing the ball down field with longer throws. But if you couple that with WR's who are better at separation, making contested catches, and catching the "catchable" balls that this year have been incomplete, we will see some incredible things in the years to come. I would much rather have Allen's style of play than Captain Checkdown/ high percentage stats.
  16. The numbers actually indicate that Benjamin was a factor... here is the stat-
  17. Agreed... and I too think it is an overall good analysis... pretty fair. But the KB factor is certainly more of the story than many realize.
  18. Kelvin Benjamin... if you take away Allen's throws to KB, you will find that his numbers look much better. The stat I saw was that Allen's percentage goes up to 59% if you take out throws to KB and Holmes.
